Gnote, sitting on the cool grass in front of the Mistyvale Inn, is jotting notes in his pad of parchment.

"This song has great potential!" He says to no one , "but the tempo needs work, and the tale has not yet fully been told..."

Hopping out of bed with a cheery tune, Gnote gets dressed and tries to decide what to do. Such a grand day, good to be alive! So much adventure just waiting to be had! A bang on his wall and a loud voice compete with his song.
