My response was with regards to straight up duels, not team battles.

For team battles, I see no reason not to allow a long buff timer, as anyone going without buffers can blame themselves.

For solo battles, a cleric without effective access to 90% of his spells is notoriously weak, and much more ...

I'm completely baffled by the no etherealness rule, especially combined with no buffing time. Speaking as a class with no strong disabling spells, no invisibility (other than etherealness), and that is completely reliant on a combination of many small buffs, that is absolute rape.

It's intended ...

Things that did not annoy me when I started:

- Lack of equipment. I found the gnome at once, enjoyed the quest, and his chest gave me a weapon or enough money to buy one. This may have been by chance though. If others did not get enough money for that, perhaps a slight change in his quest could be ...

Re: Scroll DC's

Whoa these things are high! I had exported my character to the NWN 2 in game modules and she has no problem reading scrolls and using them at +12 ranks for use magic device.
Most likely, your local difficulty settings are lower than Dasaria's. At medium and lower, all UMD rolls are take 20, if I ...

I'll help out if you want Thomas, as long as it happens in the region of 8pm-midnight central european time. Agra could referee and raise dead, but joining in on the games would be fun as well.

Be extremely careful with thick grass. It induces horrible stress on graphic cards. Sure, it looks good, but it causes frame lag (and for the unfortunate ones, overheating issues).

That's why I turned the grass off...reduced my client crashing by 50%

oh and nice stuff Sirius, good luck with ...

There are a few popular weapons that don't have any named versions yet, kukri, dagger and greatsword comes to mind. Ring selection seems narrow as well. There's a good amount of special necklaces, but very few rings. Shields with special properties are also lacking.

I'd also like to see a few ...

Let me try to answer, though some of this might be incorrect.

You don't need access to the module. Make your own areas in your own module and it can be imported to Das by the builders.

Sound file limitations, I imagine all standard NWN sounds can be included, but nothing that requires a hak or ...

I like your use of thick grass, I haven't got around to including any thick areas of grass into the grove yet, only scattered stuff, might take a note from you there and include some long grass on the side of the road, looks very nice.

Well, production subsidies are there to make it more profitable to produce oil in the US, thus reducing imports. It won't change the gas prices though, since those are mostly related to the international brent oil market.

As for alignment changing dialogue/quests, they mostly stop beyond level 6 or so. The only really, really big change can be gotten in the crypt. You'll know what it is when you're about to do it.

If you calculated the external costs of what it takes to get a gallon of gas to an american vehicle it would be around 17$ a gallon-ish.
I don't buy that for a second. Gas is heavily taxed in Norway, plus we have a generally high wage/price level and we are at about $6-7 per gallon.

Heavy ...
