Plugins, SAVE YOURSELF!

I noticed most people either don't like using plugins for some reason, or just aren't aware of them. In the interest of saving people MASSIVE amounts of time here's a list of the must have plugins!

It's sort of double edged when servers don't upgrade. On one hand you get to play with a semi-stable game knowing what will happen. On the other, OE misses a valuable testing resource for bugs that may have been squashed before release. Assuming they fix the bugs after beta release instead of just ...

There's a few servers with makeshift bleeding rules, but it's probably best to wait till the HCR community works something out. They have people work soley on issues like this and more.

I'm actually playing a pure druid without use of shapeshifting, more of a stormcaller archetype. It's pretty fun.

Eowade is correct, Zandes is massively mistaken on the role of the cleric in a battle versus afterwards. If he isn't buffing your melee before combat or neglecting something in another area it's something different, but it's not a clerics job to babysit HP bars in the midst of battle.

This second post will address how to increase difficulty since I left that out for the most part in my first post. Difficulty can be classified under one of these three catagories for me in NWN2:

1) The big fight
2) The endurance encounter
3) The unseen

1) These are the most common right now in ...

I play one of two characters normally the first being a ranger and the second a druid. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the difficulty about a four to seven depending on the quest. Kalam being lowest on the ladder and the sewers on the highest relative to level. I'll leave out the simple quests like ...

This is a result from lack of etiquette regarding quests in general. I'll use the golf analogy as the perfect example. If you're playing a game of golf and a group of people are ahead of you, you wait. It's plain and simple. Some people take major offense if you play through them and it's common ...

If this is serious you need to quantify and clarify:

What are the benefits of colocating?

What is the price?

Is it clearly worth the value?

General knowledge so people can make a knowledgable decision regarding the tangible benefits.

I almost forgot!

This is why the examining feature and hostile notification really make some server creators angry. If someone turns you hostile you gain that OOC knowledge and most people prepare accordingly. And as discussed earlier applications of "con'ing" a player with examine creates more ...

The best example of metagaming comes with the dungeon environment, you will see how hard it is to avoid. If you finish say the crypt quest for the first time, you now understand the important points of the dungeon IC with that character and OOC. Now when you relog on your character who has never ...

Disarm

Step 1
Attack of Opportunity. You provoke an attack of opportunity from the target you are trying to disarm. (If you have the Improved Disarm feat, you don’t incur an attack of opportunity for making a disarm attempt.) If the defender’s attack of opportunity deals any damage, your disarm ...

The toolset defaults disarmable to false, it takes an active setting to accomodate for it. The feat doesn't really belong in a non-harsh death penalty environment. If you are disarmed there's no guarantee you will get your weapon back, even upon killing the person who disarmed you. It also can cause ...
