Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
They were in the tunnels, a favorite spot where Lyanthi hunted. Zaryna was running. Lyanthi called for her to stop, it was dangerous and she’d run too far for Lyanthi to protect her. They came from the shadows. Lyanthi tried to run, to catch up to Zaryna. There was something dragging on her legs ...

Re: Upgrade?
Well, I think NWN and NWN2 are already 2D. Movement and object placement are all on a plane modified by bumps and troughs.Domina wrote:I vote we downgrade to 2D and large pixels so we can make mega changes quickly and make RP the key element over 4k graphics.

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
Maharetii put her hand over Zaryna’s. “I think that should wait.” Maharetii patted her hand.
“Zaryna, Lyanthi has some interesting information she found doing a bit of investigating. Seems she was right about Misari after all.” Maharetii took a couple of steps then turned back to Zaryna.

Maharetii watched patiently, smiling as Zaryna left. Her smile was gone by the time she turned to Lyanthi. “Now, what are you doing...seeing Misari and pretending it didn’t happen?” Maharetii actually seemed mad.
“But...” Lyanthi looked stricken.

Their walk back to the room was short and quiet. Maharetii was still concerned about Lyanthi’s sudden odd behavior. It wasn’t like Lyanthi to become so...judgmental. Anyway, she thought, once they were back, maybe Lyanthi would be alright, calmer...and her usual soft, warm and cuddly self.

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
It appeared to be a very popular place. Just from the noise and the number of people coming and going it was easy to see this was the place to be. Maharetti showed a little tight lipped smile and clung to Zaryna playfully.

Actually, you can buy the Platinum Edition on Amazon really cheap. The Platinum supposedly contains all the expansions. Cost is around $12 or $13 (dollars US) plus any shipping.

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
Their food, the wine and conversation that wandered from one topic to another, pleasant and trivial, set them all at ease. Even Lyanthi, who had almost alienated the young half elf, seemed to warm to her as she did to Lyanthi, finding common ground in ‘family’ problems. And even Maharetii who knew ...

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
The young half elf was observably well acquainted with having her way. Her manner suggested she was well aware of her beauty and the power that came with money.

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
It would be a nice change to dine someplace very elegant and different than the usual road fare they’d been having. They’d been in every type of establishment from here to Silversun, but someplace really nice was quite different. Maharetii looked at the dress she’d brought for just such an occasion ...

“This way, Miss.” The receptionist nodded as she spoke to Lyanthi.
A hand placed in the small of Lyanthi’s back pushed her forward gently. “That’s your cue, sweetie.” Maharetii grinned.

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
It was just as Zaryna had said. The street was packed with people struggling to find their way along the crowded lane between stalls packed with an assortment of items like she’d never seen. There were also the hands; most were the lightest of touches, deftly reaching into her pockets, slipping ...

Re: The trip home ... A Faerun tale ... (by Jain & Sunset)
It was well past midnight as the crowd in the tavern started to thin. Zaryna, Reti and Lyanthi still sat at their table drinking, laughing and telling tales; each one bigger and more extravagant than the last. That they sat so close and seemed to be lovers made everyone in the place stare; some with ...
