My point was DnD in not like WoW style games where priests are treated as personal healing bots. They don't regen mana and after buffing the group and themselves they don't have a dozen heals to throw down for one person. People have to be prepared to look after themselves and not expect a cleric ...

This all leads to one decision on my part: next game that comes out created by Obsidian (They are the ones who released NWN2, right?) won't be purchased by me. Which means that if I get one made by them, it will be without the use of cold green cash, for I am NOT spending another cent in supporting ...

When I first read the title of this thread I thought "O RLY?" :roll: I mean, why oh WHY wouldn't peope just LOVE NWN2? Hmmm? New graphics, 3.5 ruleset, everything's awesome, right? Right?! Oh, you mean... the bugs? How many of 'em? ... Say wha'?! Ooookay, I gotcha, nevermind, go ahead and play WoW ...

Sure, war can bring out good things, like techonological gizmos and what not...


But at what cost?

Sad to see that there are still people making such lame displays of "respect" for their fellow players. I hope we can weed most of them out before the end of the Beta.

It's discouraging to see so many silly bugs out there, like a Monk gaining his special AC bonus while wearing armor... signs of a rushed game. Why couldn't they launch it a little less buggy? It's taking ages to solve things that should've been fixed from the 1st patch at the latest

When someone kills you he/she can't take anything from you, as far as I know. I don't think you lose any exp or gold for dying at the hand of a player, though.
