If a thief steals from you, is caught and knows he/she is caught, and they log out, that is a clear sign of a griefer. They have no interest in RPing a thief, they just want to steal everyones stuff with no consequences.

What Video Cards are you using?

I'm asking because if it's an ATI issue we may be able to track down exactly what is causing this.

**EDIT** This should now be fixed. FYI Location of the rapier is now different, but it IS there.

There were a few bugs that have been fixed on this quest. Other tweaks are being done to fine tune it, but it was tested in game yesterday and the quest is now completable.

My main concern here is the misinterpretation of Law vs Outlaw being seen as Good vs Evil. A case in point (this is only an example): I could play a Lawful Evil ...

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

It's the journey, not the destination, that holds the adventure.

Server stability so far has been great.

I did have quite a few client crashes, though. All of them were zoning into T & C.

I always try to keep things as simple as possible. Makes life easier. I look at it this way:

What would my character do?

I have one character that would gut someone for taking what my character fought so hard to get.

I have another character who cares very little for possessions, so he'd shrug ...

When I first started in Das1, way back when, I was a TOTAL newb to RP. Fortuantly my first character was a lot like me, or rather, what USED to be a lot like me. Once I realized that, my next few characters took on different facets of my personality.

Hunar was the old me - Drunk most of the time ...

It's funny, because I still remember the time stamp of the first character I created, Bleveck Torinvhork. Since the move to a new computer, I've lost that information, but I still remember the time! I know, to the minute, when I logged onto Dasaria.

Meh, I've seen level 20s, in Das1, that did very little to help the story and immersion.

Then I've seen level 1s and 2s, through force of character alone, drive a great storyline.

In my experiance, levels mean little.
