A Thank You

I just want to thank so many of you who have made my start here on Dasaria so enjoyable and so welcoming. I have decided that I am going to stay here for quite a while. My brother just recently joined the server and is having a blast as well. I've played on a couple servers and there was one.. Elements of Aesyr, that was just... one of the best experiences I've ever had gaming. I have to say that I thought that there would not be a community that could compete with EoA or a leadership team that could match the skill and helpfulness of EoA.. but I want to commend you all for surpassing every expectation that I have had.. this is my new home an it really is the BEST server I've played on. I just wanted to take some of my time out to thank you all. And, if there is a way to donate to the maintaining of Dasaria, I would love to be able to do so. I am not skilled at programing or designing (which I suppose I could try harder at) but I would like to contribute in any way needed. If there is a need that I can fill, writing up stories, assisting in creating storylines, or anything.. I would love to help.

This last year has been one of the most frustrating and challenging years of my life.. and Dasaria has helped me a lot in the short time I've been here. Not to be a sobby little whiner, but I really appreciate all of the effort you all put into this place so we can find our escape. It does mean a lot to me. The community, you guys' are great! Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming.

Anyways, I figured since I felt appreciative, I should show that appreciation.. Thanks a lot.

Dasaria is after all a community, with many different kinds of leaders creating the story and showing the way for the rest of us. We builders, DMs, player-carpenters, wiki-maintainers et al. all appreciate a friendly nod every now and again too, but it's the players that make this place special; the wonderful characters and situations that spring forth from their minds continue to delight and surprise me too.

While every few years we as a community will all pitch in upgrade the server, as we did just recently, Dasaria is free and its past, current, and future maintainers accept payment only in love and twizzlers.
