Hey well, i try, but i just am not too great at RP sometimes.
Recently i was stricken with a curse. The patient zero DM RP event.
I read some of the RP about it here..but while in game i find it diffucult to try and advance the RP, ( usually due to the simple fact very few people online when i am)
But even still i dont quite understand it. Am i supposed to interrogate any pc that i see? I went by the churches, but found no help there. My guy is still under lv 10 ( I think 5) and he is a fighter type, so the debuff gimps me pretty hard when i try to do other stuff.
It not that i DONT want to participate, its just i dont quite understand it..if anyone can give me any tips? thanks.
Not sure how to RP this?...

Re: Not sure how to RP this?...
Hello Darryl,
What time-zone are you in? Australian?
If you ever use the scry tool when in-game, and you see people in the Temple of Farallis in Cear Trade's and Commons, you should head over there. That Temple (RP wise) houses the sick and dying from the plague, and will most likely be a focal point for any plague-related RP for the coming week.
I'm not sure of this part, but I think that if you drink a potion of cure disease or potion of restoration, it might remove the negative effects of the plage, but the plague Feat itself will still remain. Don't quote me on this though.
Stay tuned for more info of the event

Re: Not sure how to RP this?...
I wont dictate how to RP this because there are dozens of way to attempt finding a solution for the cure/finding patient Zero.
- Imagine how you would try to be finding something in the first place.
-Research
-Hunting
-Talking to others and tracing where THEY got it from
-Maybe finding about how to lessen the burden of the curse through magic/abilities
-RP the disease and the pains from it
-Help others in investigation (if they are having one)
-Pray to the gods and hope death comes painlessly
There are many ways to approach this and play it out. If you dont like the effects that its posing on your character, then one can ask a cleric (PC) for a cure disease spell or use a restoration potion for temporary relief. Traveling with a party helps a great deal in Dasaria and its a wonderful thing to make teamwork and friends that are willing to help.
I hope this is helpful in your approach and any other RP that you get involved in.

However, do note that even after using a cure disease/restoration spell/potion, you can still spread the plague. It is polite as a player to not go around an infect people in your quest to find out how to cure yourself. IC or not - for example, you shouldn't use the scry tool to try and find people and then infect them, as they may intentionally be hiding from the plague where they're hoping people can't find them
When in doubt while using the scry tool, send a tell to one of them

That is fair, but you should still ask
Everyone is here to have fun, and if you give someone a disease in a way they feel is unfair, you could very well ruin their fun. And that isn't very fair at all
- might also ruin your fun if they react negatively or hostilely to your attempts.

That smells a little too meta-gamey to me and not at all like an an in-character act. Please do not do that. Let's let the story run its course without turning this temporary feature into a harassment tool for other players.

While my character hasn't been online since I started her investigation earlier this week (darn life), she has been investigating the PCs and honing in on a probable place to look for Patient Zero.
We just need a DM in the mix and maybe it'll go somewhere.
But yeah, hang out near the Temple of Farallis.
