I have a low level Druid that was doing the hides quest. I gathered up 10 wolf hides just outside the gate. The 10 hides put me overweight at 101/100. I slowly walk to turn in the hides. I turn in my 10 hides. My weight drops to about 90/100 or so. Im still encumbered. I sell off some junk and at about 65/100 I finally can walk normal again. The server reset, ive died, and im still bugged. My guy goes overweight at about 65/100 which leaves me very little room for loot.
Is there some way I can get back to normal?
overweight bug

Thats by design on obisidians part. You cannot run if you are carrying more than 2/3's of your total carrying capacity.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

yeah when the numbering goes yellow you are down on speed. If they aren't yellow try holding shift and clicking on somewhere you want to walk then releasing shift and clicking again, I find this gets rid of the thing where you continue to walk slowly.
I don't feel any shame, I won't apologise
