Das II Status Summary Post

We are testing the client walkmesh files now and as soon as we are sure they are good we will be uploading them and bringing on the server.

You can expect a rar'd download of about 36ish MB or a zip of about 42 MB.

Instructions and download link will be posted as soon as it is up.

Uploading the PWC files. We have to make 1 final patch to fix a couple of bug.

Please bear with us. Server is getting hammered, it's crashing. Within half a minute I think we reached 20 players at the initial launch.

We're doing our best to iron things out.

We're currently looking at optimizing CPU usage. The first few minutes fed us quite a bit of information and we have it narrowed down to a few things. This won't require another PWC download, so rest assured. We're looking at addressing the issue and hopefuly it'll help to smooth things out.

We apologize for the rocky start, but I don't think anyone here knew it was going to be smooth sailing. As is stands, we're the largest PW on Gamespy, with the largest playing base, so we're chartering unmapped territory here. The guys here were stunned to see 20 players join in a matter of seconds.

Stability is a major issue, though we just had a single run of about 37 minutes before it crashed. We are already working on tweaks to try to improve this.
