Ok friends recommended mokingly that I watch The Gamers: Dorkness rising and as shameless as I am I watched it, omg it was hilariously bad taking the mick out of PnPers. I could totally match up some of their mentalities with some fellow community members here hell they even RP a Kadmiel-esq type char. I have to wait for Judas to watch it for his opinion to clarify some points but thought some of you should watch it especially; Pere, Jae, Gobby, Reaf, Baby, (Wired if not to distracting from Das 2), Atharin etc.
One point I am curious about though as I have no point of reference is: Are your PnP sessions actually anything like that?
Incase your wondering; no I could never watch it again, no you shouldn't buy it, no I couldn't take the actors/actresses seriously but hell yes you should watch it once. ((Someone I think it was Jae once told me to watch some of a series about gamers I forgot it's name which had some funnier moments but you could take some of those chars more seriously))

"The Guild" is great.
I highly recommend the documentary Darkon. It's about a larping group based in Baltimore, Maryland. And it is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I'll check out this dorkness rising. heh

Oh, no not Darkon. They have been around for a long time and have "Countries" all through Maryland and Northern Virginia.
I tried to play with them for a while but I got sick of them telling my that the linen and wool clothes that I wore for Historical Medieval Re-enactments (http://www.markland.org/) was not authentic for the Middle Ages.

OMFG!!! my friend recommended that i watch this a couple weeks back. It's starts slow but there are some extremely funny scenes.
"who takes improved initiative?!?"
it's a must see if you've ever played pnp.

I'll have to look into this. On a side note, I miss playing PnP.

Yes. THAT Darkon. They have been around forever, BUT the documentary about them is excellent. So intriguing!Mon-da-oth wrote:Oh, no not Darkon. They have been around for a long time and have "Countries" all through Maryland and Northern Virginia.
