Well once I found out about the Mill getting from 13 to 16 was kind of a breeze. Now though it looks like unless I get access to exotic (material) weaponry I'm starting to run out of reasonably soloable quests. Heck even a lone Koalisk Trueblood takes forever to kill alone...

So if anyone is ever interested in dealing with Driders, cleansing a certain Cathedral in Ravenswatch, or heck even something as simple as butchering Orcs, Imps, Howlers or Faeries let me know. Until then, I guess I'll be sitting in various Inns looking for a crafter/enchanter, or maybe leveling my alts. :P

Alternatively, make a post in the Marketplace, asking for someone to make you the items you want.

Koalisks aren't supposed to be easy. :) In fact, I'd wager they were designed to be a pain in the rear. In Dasaria 1, it took a group of level 20's to go through their lair successfully ... and mind you, it usually had to be a group that included at least one cleric (because you would die) and a rogue that was skilled at disarming. I haven't managed to go through the Koalisk quest successfully in Dasaria 2 yet because my highest is level 16 or 17 (I can't remember which). But, I can sympathize with the "it takes forever to kill one" point-of-view.

My character is at the stage where currently he should not really be above level 4 - he's more of a common citizen at the moment, but often goes on quests with others for the thrill of the adventure, as opposed to actually doing much in the way of stabbing, and therefore has little experience. I'd quite like not to have to go off and get myself killed every time I approach the next level as i'd lose gold and it's just plain odd - If I have to though I will.

There's a temple of Nuarari (might've spelled that wrong) in Trades and Commons where you can go to remove entire levels from your character without killing them.

But the option always exists to just not click the level up button. Experience stops accruing after a certain point of not levelling up.

I think it will go about 1500 xp over the level and then stop until the character levels up.

You can accrue half of the XP to your next level before it stops, or rather is adjusted by a script during level-up. Yes, the *ding* can get annoying, but a small price to pay to keep your character at a specific level for RP purposes.
