Early morning in the Misty

[Ron]

Trajin shrugs, slides back in his chair facing the fire and sips his wine quietly.

[Gobbylin]

Robidais stumbles slightly down the stairs, grumbling as he nearly falls. As he reaches the bottom the light of the fire catches his attention and causes him to squint as he looks towards it, the light of the fire casting a relaxing glow on the two sitting next to it. Turning away from the light Robidais heads towards the bar and after a brief struggle and nearly causing several drinks to fall he comes back out from behind the bar with an ale. Heading towards the two occupants, Robidais grabs a chair and drags it behind him rather noisely and plops down on it between Trajin and Reginald.

Taking a long swig from his ale draining nearly half its contents Robidais glances to both of his comrades; smirking. "Morning to the both of you, you two made enough noise when you left to wake a dracolich."

Robidais leans back in his chair and stares into the fire, taking the occasional swig from his drink.

[Mon-da-oth]

"My exit of the room can by no means exceed the volume of noise that escapes your nose while you sleep. Tell me how one of such small stature manages to exhale so much air at such levels?" Reginald grins at Rabidais.

[Ron]

Trajin tilts his head to the side and notes the glow of fire light on Robidais head still sipping his wine.

[Gobbylin]

Robidais smirks at Reginald then speaks in a hushed town crier voice. "Tis the sound I am still alive, n' no Assassin has slain me within sleep. When Zee sound stops, tis mean I have gone to the Lady Peralia or have awoken."

Glancing over to Tragin he notices him looking at his head. "You've never seen a bald head before?" Robidais grins.

Glancing back to Reginald Robidais puts forth his inquiry. "So what are the two of you doing awake at this hour?"

[Mon-da-oth]

"I would have awoken soon to practice my forms but Trajin here woke me early leaving the room so I followed in case there was trouble. As it is there is little trouble that is not of our own doing although Trajin seems to be trying to finish that bottle of wine by himself and its is not even pass the beginnings of dawn."

[Ron]

Trajin looks at his glass and smiles. "Wine is made to drink, I am merely fullfilling its destiny". Trajin grins, obviously feeling the effects of the wine. "To your bald head Robidais". He downs the rest of the wine and places the glass on the table.

A cold wind blows through the inn as the door is opened and a man dressed in an outdated battle armour of Lochwar enters. Marrent Arghivius places himself confidently in front of the opening into the main room. He throws his cloak over his shoulders clearly revealing the iron gauntlet on his chest. He is followed by a younger woman, dressed in the classical robe of a neophyte of Lochwar.

For a moment the music and merry laughter diminish as Marrent raises his voice, clearly trying to make a statement to the visitors in the inn.

As he starts to speak the neophyte nails a poster on the wall next to the Talon Captain.

Hear me citizens of Cear! It has come to my knowledge that certain people from Cear have spread false ways and heretical beliefs for a long time in the area. Spies of the enemy move among us. A recent breaking and entry was made in our most holy temple of Lochwar. Who can feel at ease with crimes like these happening in our very midst? But have confidence, there is still time for great heroes, the time for retribution is at hand. Lochwar will still, for some time, forgive those who have remorse. The Holy Church offers this to those who willingly recognise the greatness of Lochwar!
I am confident that you all feel the great pain of not being able to fully trust the companion next to you. These fears and misperceptions are caused and fueled by enemies of the Empire and our great Emperor Marcus the Fourth. Anyone hearing of, or suspecting others of spreading lies about the Empire or the Holy Church of Lochwar should, as a lawful citizen, report it to the authorities. To emphasize my goodwill. I hereby announce that the temple in Thrall's Gate will offer a reward for any information that leads to the conviction of a heretic or an enemy of the church -- for an enemy of the Holy church of Lochwar is also an enemy of our great Empire!

Marrent surveys the inner room and its guests. He smiles and turns to the captain of the city guard standing by the back door.

The poster next to the Talon captain on the wall reads:

Let it be known that anyone bringing information regarding enemies of the Church of Lochwar is to be rewarded by the temple in Thrall's Gate.

The information must be solid and preferably lead to a conviction for heresy or for otherwise violating Imperial law.
Other content might be considered worth rewarding, and will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

The deliberate provision of false information may be regarded as treason, and the offender shall be dealt with as such in accordance with Imperial law.

Trajin's sagging eyelids open as he looks our his shoulder to see what the commotion is. Resuming his nap he mumbles "what the hells was that about?"
