Brother Kenshin stands firm listening to the sermon. After having to have suffer the attacks by the faithless his heart and soul looks to reclaiming the honor of the Temple.
After the ending of the sermon Brother Kenshin follows Darius to his quarters.

Re: The Temple of Peralia in Two Bridges
In the back of the temple – half covered with shadows Father Arghivius moves toward the private quarters of the temple. He nods to anyone he meets uttering a dark blessing for them who wish it. Upon entering the private room he finds the folded clothes and kneels down beside them.
A somewhat worried stance is exchanged to a more relived posture as his eye catches the orbish reflection of the black pearl. With a smile he slowly picks it up, holding it in his fist for a while allowing himself a moment of reflection. Afterward he rises:
”And thus the die has been cast, let the shadow rule. he murmurs and silently leaves the vicinity.

Re: The Temple of Peralia in Two Bridges
On occation The priest, Father MArrent Arghivius, appears in the temple of Peralia with the blessing of the clergy hosting it - allowing his message to reach a broader audiance - although his words are often repeated in the temple of Culnul as well.
”The silvery strings are the weave of destiny.” Father Arghivius voice was low as a whisper – the vast halls still managed to echoe the message to all who listened. The Gods hold our souls firmly to it. Understand that neither man, nor woman ever can escape the divine principles.” with a scholarly tone he continued.
”The Varanite army fights furiously to protect our homes. Many lives are forfeit by marching toward the horde of the usurper. Their deaths on the battlefield will be accepted as price for the Lord of Decay. Culnul knows that he must take their souls because such is the divine principle. The brave soldier then asks himself – how can I escape this fate? How can I assure that my soul does not end up in eternal tormenting? The black robed priest widens his eyes and opens his palms and continues as if speaking to children.
” To win a war you must pray to the God of war. Tharon will guide you, as soldier through the battle field and in the end toward your rightful resting place. Culnul and Peralia both listen to advice from the Father of Battle. IF you have been faithful to these divinities they will hear you. Be true to that simple rule and your mind will see victory and your soul will escape damnation.”
Tightening his stance Father Arghivius folds his hands and ends the sermon.
”Amen. ”

*From the side of Father Marrent stands the solid form of Brother Kenshin Bushido, the exemplar of Peralia, the senior Requiem Guard. He echos Father Marrent. The Two strong voices fill the temple together*
