I didn't know this one until I was told, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out... if you have a decent knowledge of NWN1 spells.

There isn't a concrete "Sumerian Pantheon" to speak of so it's a little hard to say which god you mean. I'll guess Farallis/Ea, but only because the rest of the pantheon I'm either certain was in Das1 or simply doesn't exist historically speaking.
Additionally, would his really be retconning? It could be that this deity was always native to the Varanite pantheon and was simply unrecognized by the Dasarian tradition, much like Sarrapu(?) of the Cuhannans or how Enlil is to the Varanites.

Re: Dasarian Trivia
Close, but no cigar. Enki/Ineania is the correct answer. Ea was in the original Dasaria 1 and was based on the Sumerian/Babylonian mythology concerning Ea/Enki. Enki was spun off into a female goddess of good magics with the water and protection aspects of Ea, leaving Ea with the magic, knowledge, and adviser rolls.Atharin wrote:I'll guess Farallis/Ea, but only because the rest of the pantheon I'm either certain was in Das1 or simply doesn't exist historically speaking.

As to why it was a retcon and not just a Varanite deity, First off, the DMs went out of their way to give a Dasarian name to the new goddess (Enki) and specifically divided Ea's portfolio. Further, during the transition period between Dasaria 1 and 2 there were some discussions as to what would happen with the pantheon, and one of the things that came out of these discussions was the creation of Enki (some of these discussions happened in public and at the time the player base did not know that the Dasarians were going to lose the war and be ground under heel by the Varanites). Further, player based lore adopted Enki as a traditional Dasarian goddess and it was simply accepted by most folks to the point where everyone simply forgets about it.
The only reason people remember Enlil and Erra is because I put them on the wiki, if not, he'd be utterly forgotten. ;p
I'll allow Kadmiel the next question since he came the closest and because I can't think of any new one to ask.

Yes he did, and no he didn't. *smirks*
When the new pantheon was published, all the aspects that Falson had followed from Ea had been put into Enki. Therefor, following in grand retcon tradition, Falson was retconned to have been a follower of Enki and the backstory and history of the character was also changed to reflect this.

If your talking about Das 2 thats a tad unfair as only a few of us can answer that. Actually I retract that as their is an NPC who can tell others.

This may be a terrible question (I'm not sure how well known it is), but the ships of the Cerulean Fleet are preceded with E.M.S., as in the E.M.S. Resolute. What does that acronym stand for?

Isn't it written on the little model in the Cerulean HQ?

Yeah, it's not on the model. Checked last night. It's Emperor's Military Ship, a play off of His Majesty's Ship. Also there is the E.E.M.S., which is Emperor's Elite Military Ship.

I thought it was Shorn. Either him, Jherod Ravenholm, Boone Goobay or Subal Stonemier.
