Windows Vista obviously....
I mean the ever expanding memory requirements will have to go down at some point right?
Right?

I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

So have we thought about a nickname for Vista.. you know, ahead of time, so we're prepared when it doesn't work.

im assuming you have all read about vista and how it uses 1Gb RAM minimum just to run it.... (2 reccomended)
also when direct X 10 cards come out it will use the RAM and cores in your graphics cards to produce vastly superior performances in and out of game. apparently some of the new cards will process upto 10 times faster than the current duel cores
if any1 is interested in upgrading graphics and can hold out for another 6 months, i'd strongly reccomend getting one of these new direct X 10 cards and upgrading to Vista

I'm going to wait a solid year before even -thinking- about Vista. Like everything Microsoft makes, usually the first version sucks.

Unless you're using a mac and running no microsoft software what-so-ever you are just a hypocrite.

Forgive me for wanting to use my computer for gaming, or the fact that XP was forced upon me as I bought this computer. Can't really see the reasoning behind your statement.broncoblitz wrote:I always think its funny when people go off on random microsoft hating tangents.StormRunner wrote:Fixed that quote for you.Vahene wrote:I'm going to wait a solid year before even -thinking- about Vista. "Man, the rent is really high here."
"You still pay it, don't you?"
"Yeah, you know... I have to"
"Hypocrite!"
</end bad analogy>
Microsoft products are more or less shoved down our throats these days, especially if you want to use the computer for playing games. Just because I'm forced to use something doens't mean I have to like it.
Moreover, I advise that Carthage must be destroyed.

1. You can have Microsoft products and still not like them. Their QA leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to some of their operating systems.
2. Don't take a comment so seriously. Unless you're Bill Gates, really, it wasn't intended to be a personal slam.

A wise man once told me; America is being the bad guy these days. We all know that. But do we also know that America is the -first- one in this position and that whichever step we'll make, it has huge possibilities of turning out wrong no matter what it does?
I suppose it's the same with Microsoft.
Who's taking it seriously? And who was it again who was being all defensive about Dell?
