ahh my protege, 25 is less than 100. so you cannnot refute my claim
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

Hurray for Me!

It's easy to turn on snow... the problem is, there are no snow tiles, and you can't use the "texture -> color" to make it white, because white is like the eraser.

In other words, you can have it snow, there just wont be any on the ground...

There were some snow textures released back at the Neverwinter Vault. Perhaps taking a look wouldn't hurt.

I read somewhere on the Obsidian forums that weather effects have no effect on bandwidth, and if AA / AS are disabled.. almost no effect on framerate.

I'd love to have weather turned on.. adds to the realism.. I think I read above that it was veto'd.. :(

A setting like infrequently for say a few days to test out how it affects everyone would be a nice thing.. me thinks..

The funky way effects seem to be in NWN2, I would not be surpised if it might show rain or snow on your screen, but not on anyone elses. So you would say, "Hey, it's really pouring today." And everyone else would think you are nuts because it's a beautiful sunny day to them...

It actually would hurt, because EVERYONE would have to download and install them appropriately if they wanted to play :P
