I've no problem with the disarmed npc weapons being destroyed upon successful disarm.
I only recall getting attacks of opportunity on the successfully disarmed npc's in Kaladim.
I've never had a toon in the monks that could disarm. Seems odd that the non-named npcs would be immune.
I don't no for a fact, but it seems like the npcs of the Tower are also immune to disarm. But I haven't been able to get a group there often enough to be sure, and soloing is not really an option.
Disarm does not work on any of the mill content. I admit that kinda bothers me.
During the last tournament, improved disarm did work against other players, but it did not put the weapon into my inventory. Just dropped it on the ground.
*shrug*
A design team question? Does improved disarm do anything different than disarm?
Is Disarm Disabled

in DnD, if you make the disarm check when unarmed, you get their weapon.. although it would seem that the Improved Disarm feat is Obsidian's largely nonsensical alternative to this, has anyone tried using either feat while unarmed?

Just to confirm/re-iterate that I too have noticed that the Thoroughfare bandits and Korgov men-at-arms are immune to disable.Eratai wrote:As my character with improved disarm has seen a fair portion of the enemies in Dasaria II now, I wanted to update this.
I do not know if it is intentional or not, but in the course of my travels I have found some areas where non-boss enemies are immune to disarm, here's the list thus far
1)The thoroughfare bandits(and by that I mean all bandits in the thoroughfare, not just the ones bearing that moniker) all seem to have their weapons welded to their hands
2) The undead warriors on the way to aucklorn mill cannot be disarmed. (neither the daylight or nighttime versions of them)
3) The clerics and champions in the Tersii monks dungeon cannot be disarmed.
That's all I have found at the moment that are immune. Jair hasn't been to the tower yet, though I understand from a former post in this thread that they are disarmable.
If it was intentional to leave the above enemies un-disarmable I won't complain. I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case it was unintentional.
Also, can anyone answer my post above regarding attacks of opportunity? I took Expert Tactician to capitalize on my role up front when in a party, and I figured Imp Disarm would help that along, but somewhere around or over 50% of enemies I disarm do not grant AOOs
It would be nice to know if that is pre design, or possibly a missed default. Esp. if "higher-level" mob's are disarm-able

This is the default behavior in the toolset.
I would post a request in the bug forum or "little things that you'd like to see fixed" thread.
