The server will be located in the US, central time zone. And tomorrow is incredibly tentative so we can't commit to any time as of yet.

The server is built and set up for use.

We are going to push hard to get some things done by tonight. I cant promise we will go live tonight just yet. We are debating on getting some more buildings filled out in one of the city districts. We have a goodly amount of content that is ready, but there are a few bugs to squish here and there. We will post updates as soon as we have a decision.

A few questions:

1. I assume we'd have to download the content?
2. Would the world launch as beta or as a release stage? ( I am just curious)
3. What is the maximum player count are you considering for Dasaria?
4. Out of curiosity, what are the specs on the server and bandwidth?

In all likelihood the server won't be going live until this evening.

1. You'd have to download the Client Pack (PWC) in order to join, which will be made available the second the server is up. This file will be roughly 30-50 mb in size, depending on the final module version.

2. This is a hard question to answer, because there will always be bug fixing and content additions to Dasaria, there never will be a time when something has to be fixed or added. Jehannum's What To Expect has more details on this.

3. I'm sure we won't hit the maximum amount of players, currently the NWVault entry says 40, but that is subject to change depending on how the server handles the load.

4. That is for Jehannum to disclose, if he wishes.

But like I said above, in all likelihood, the server won't be going live until later tonight when the final touches have been added to the initial content.

Don't wait up tonight, folks. Dasaria 2 will not launch this evening. There are just a few more things we'd like to complete before we go live. Anything less than that is something we're not ready to commit to.

We're hoping for tomorrow.

But take your time indeed . . . if it takes 'til monday I won't be disappointed at all. And that has nothing to do with the fact that I'm at my dad's house and can't play NwN2 over here. Nope, nothing to do with that at all.

I'm eagerly awaiting - but thanks for all the hours, days and sleepless nights (not to mention cups of coffee) that you are putting in to make this a reality!
