Re: Lochwar Temple - Thrall's Gate
Standing with his arms raised, clearly conducting a prayer in front of the Altar, Father Marrent turns to face Minuvas. His jaws drops - eyes staring at the recent arrival.
He drops with a sound of metal against stone as his knees hits the floor kneeling - recognizing his superior
Father Minuvas, you have returned!
The temple staff halts in its daily routines.
As the commotion settles, Marrent rises and bows, We have much to discuss Father...

Re: Lochwar Temple - Thrall's Gate
The Father was seen discussing with an unknown individual for a great length of time in the dining hall of the Church.
Little is known about the exchange, but the Neophytes thought the man was of some importance considering the Father requested he be given some of the Dark Varanite Tea - often reserved for guests who are of greater Imperial Status.
The last time such requests were made were for powerful warlords of the Talon, the Commodore, The Patriarch, and the late Governor.

Father Marrent watches the meting from afar. His face concerned. He turns to a neophyte
– send Father Minuvas to me after his meeting.
- Send… Father?
Marrent sighs heavily and snaps back with an irritated voice.
- Don’t question me! Interpret me. Ask him to join me.
The neophyte bows and stays silent awaiting the conversation in the dining room to end. Father Marrent dissapears in tot the back area of the temple.
Afterwards the neophyte respectfully gives Father Minuvas the message.

Re: Lochwar Temple - Thrall's Gate
Father Marrent entered the temple. He paused, seemingly to dust off his armour from yet a perilous travel, but that fooled no one – the Father made sure that none in the temple staff was missing or otherwise trying to elude their duties.
Content with that all the neophytes was deeply involved in their daily duties he marched inwards, kneeling in front of the altar asking guidance from his lord and Master.
This day had indeed been interesting. The almighty Lord had shown him that he was wrong. The presence of Lochwar is strong still. He had been a fool to doubt it. He would make sure he never repeated such thoughts, balancing on blasphemy again. Later tonight the lashes would fall ever so hard. On the surface Lochwars presence was hard to feel but it was there, one just had to know where to look.
This will be an interesting report to write, he thought aloud to himself oblivious of any eavesdroppers. A wicked smile started to spread across his face.
Neophyte! He ordered as he rose from his kneeling position.
Sister Trissta rushed to his side, humbly bowing, yes Father?
I had some visitors here earlier this day. Are they still around? Let anyone know that I am ready to take audiances as soon as I finished my supper. I will be waiting in the dining room.
Father Marrent vanished into his private quarters, seemingly to clean himself up and remove his armour. Then he reappeared he was dressed in the flowing gold and red robes of the clergy - he took his place at the high seat letting the thralls serve him while he watied - eyes fixed on the opposing fire across the room.

Sister Trissta replies to Marrent (in regard with "the visitors"): Yes Father. Leon Praetor was here not even 2 hours ago asking for you. He let us know that we could find him at the Mistyvale Inn if you need him.

Re: Lochwar Temple - Thrall's Gate
Father Marrent Rises from his kneeling position in front of the Altar. It was time for the weekly proclamation:
Lochwar has blessed our church with yet more power. This week a new servant has entered in the temples service. Attendant Leon Plessi, welcome to out flock. May your life be worthy these halls of the all mighty King of Gods! Putting his hands together and raising his voice - making it echo in the vast hall he announced:
"And you shalt fear and honor me, your Lord and God, with all thy heart, all that is your soul and with all your mind and strength."
He turned around facing the church goers. On this Wednesday sermon we will also include the official recognition of Methos in joining the rite of cleansing and becoming part of the trial of admittance.Father Marrent smiled as he recognised the many nods and whispers among the listeners – having two new admitants in one week is rare and will serve as an indicator of that the church is growing stronger then many before recognised. Quickly he wiped the smile from his lips and his posture clearly indicated that the proclamation was over and the sermon would continue. The crowd fell silent.
Slowly Father Marrent stretched his arms making his body form a cross. His gaze turned downwards and his hands formed tight fists; Lochwar, thou who have the wisdom to separate weakness from the devoted and strength from the foolish. Bless your flock. We lay our wretched souls in your hands to do with as you wish! Your will be done! The convergation repeated the last two sentences in chorus.
Father Marrent again faced the auditory – AMEN!
Today’s sermon was over.

… Father Marrent makes his weekly announcements from the pulpit:
Lochwar continues to smile upon the chosen ones. This week we welcome citizen Mord Krown to our Holy Church of Lochwar!
May your servitude be long and prosperous! The Church looks forward to follow your progress!
Praise Lochwar, King of Gods!

(at the weekly sermon)
… Let it be known that Citizen Arto has joined our temple and strives to fulfil His wishes in the rite of Admittance. Lochwars will be done!
And Lochwar has blessed us even further this day – Attendant Leon Plessi has left the ritual of Admittance, excelling in his trial and is now a Novitiate of the Exemplar Order! Arise Exemplar Plessi for your old life is no more. The Church welcomes your servitude. Take up your rightful position within the ranks of the Exemplar Knights, may your strong arm be guided by our Lord and Master at all times!
Tremble unfaitful! *Father Marrent triumphantly looks over the community*
Temple security will no longer be left to Neophytes, but the Exemplar knights of Thralls gate!
Praise Lochwar, King of gods!

Father Marrent enters the temple, cloak swirling – his expression grim and nervous at the same time. Taking deep breaths he calms himself. He addresses Sister Trssta with a sharp order as he marches past her. Heading into the temples private quarters:
Summon a meeting!

Methos, already in the temple, and nearby, overhears Marrent and follows him into the private quarters.
"Father..."
Methos says as he bows.
"Your face betrays ill news, but I will wait for the others before I ask what it is."
He seats himself on the floor, resting his towershield against the wall, and nods to those that enter later.
