As for the monk question: Whirling Serpent Handwraps +3( Level required 6, Attack Bonus +3, Damage bonus Acid 1d4, Only usable by Monk)(5000 gold)
This isn't bad if you're facing negative energy: Nightmare Shroud(Robe)(Spell Focus (Necromancy), Damage Vulnerability Divine 25%, Resistance negative Energy 20/-)(5000 gold)
If you have cleric levels(and are evil): Archibald Circumvax's Robe(+2 AC, AC vs Good +4, Only usable by: Cleric, Only Useable by: Evil, Spell Resistance 10)(2500 gold)

Boots of Running (BF Dash, Use: Expeditious Retreat 3 uses)... I'm pretty sure the 5% goes at the end, which would greatly increase your running speed.(2500 gold)
Cloak of Dreams (Required Level 10, Immunity to Sleep, Ethreal Visage (15) 5 uses.)(5000 gold) gives some nice DR and concealment.
