"Don't... laugh.. it kinda takes the thunder out my whole speech, you're ruining it Noa!..." the druid shushed, feigning the scowl that lay thinly covered over his smile. "What's so funny..?" he said, accompanied by a soft poke in her side.

"You...", the girl began, sighing then after and calming down. Noa looked to Aswaith sideways as she pushed again her hair from her eyes and evinced an implike grin: "You were just enouncing that in such a serious way.", she chuckled, "Really, you've got to stop bein' so starchy!"

"...That's funny? I -do- know where to get the herbs for that type of concoction, it's not a laughing matter." he grinned from ear to ear, casting a sideways glance in her direction. "Business is never a laughing matter, unless you're making good bucks. Or so I heard someone once say. Don't remember who it was, though." He bent through his knees to begin rolling up the tapestry. "...Or was that not what you meant, hmm? Mind moving those two ships of yours for a few seconds so I can roll up this thing?" He threw a meaningfull glance at her feet before glancing up at her again.

The girl arched an eyebrow and crossed her arms, not moving from her current spot. She still gazed to Aswaith sideways, but now with her chin slightly elevated. She then put a hand on her hip and evinced a smirk: "Mind sayin' that again, Aswaith?", she tauntingly took three steps and positioned herself on the centre of the rug: "I believe your words, fell rather short on me!"

"..I asked if you would be so inclined to remove those two ships of yours from the tapestry, so that I would be able to roll it up and carry it outside to clean it. I could attempt to roll you in with it, but I'd be afraid the tapestry wouldn't be big enough to cover both the feet -and- the behind." he retorted up at her in a catlike sneer as he sat back on his calves with his hands on the already rolled up part. "Why did I have to repeat, something wrong with your ears aside from not being pointed?"

"M-My ears are just fine!", Noa replied while a somewhat scandalised and annoyed smile came to her face: "I wonder about you though!", she then raised her broom and pointed with its dusty end at Aswaith in a menacing manner: "Haven't you pocket-sized tree-huggers usually have a flower to speak to instead of lookin' at other people's bums that much?! Shady, I'd say!"

"You can't blame me, one can't really miss it don't you think?" Quickly he scattered back a bit, jumping up by the dangerous looking broom threatening to come his way. His retreat caused the tapestry to flip back on the floor again with a soft, dull thud. A puff of ash rose up in between the Vicious Redhead Revenger and the one who seemed to be about to loose the battle. "What are you going to do with that, swipe me into oblivion mm?" he snorted whilst recovering himself back up on his feet in a crouched, low and defensive stance.

"Gregor looks like he's about to explode though."

Will watched as one thing led to another, and soon Aswaith's rebuttal had become another disaster-in-disguise named Noa-with-a-broom. "You two are hopeless..." Will said to himself as he shook his head, a devious smile covering his mouth. "...hopeless romantics."

The redhead turned around to face Will, her mouth open and ready to speak. Yet in her rotating action, the broom swept an unnoticed pile of ashes and as Noa raised the broom and pointed it to Will, it produced a wave of ashy dust which blinded the Inn's owner, Gregor. Her jaw once again dropped as the owner of the Inn shouted curses. Noa immediatelly glanced to the exit of the Willow Eave's, preparing to dart off and leave the situation for Aswaith and Will to take care of.

Corporal Marius Drake makes his way into the inn, his as yet unstained blue cloak slightly damp from the apparent rain storm outside. He has obviously made the long walk after finishing a patrol. He makes for the bar without speaking to anyone, and oddly enough a server places a plate on the bar for him to take along with a mug, which sloshes showing its contents to be water. It appears he has made previuos arrangements with the innkeep for his meals.

Marius makes his way to a lone table, and begins his simple meal of pan seared white fish, a few carrots, and unadorned roasted potatoes. He eats quietly, eyes never leaving his plate.

"Th-.." Aswaith's voice fell flat after an attempt to set Will straight once again. Shock crept on his face when he saw the scene unfolding before him in slow motion. His mouth fell open and he stared at Gregor for what felt like many minutes as every muscle in his wired body tensed like for a storm to come. His eyes then snapped to Noa and clear as water he could see her intent as hers darted from Will, to him and for the exit. "I think we outstayed our welcome. If you're running, I'm running with you." he whispered as he slowly started to make a backward retreat.

"Right!", the girl replied: "Drop by Cear anytime, Will!", Noa said as she quickly turned around and took her heels, discharging herself from the broom and already raising her hand for the handle of the wooden door leading outside. As the door opened by itself, the strong, dampish winds made her blink her eyes from the moist and hesitate. When the girl recognized the familiar uniform that the drenched silhouette, who entered the Inn, donned, Noa's dusty boots almost made her slip as she quickly stopped her running and studied in panic her options.

The girl stupidly opened the closest door in her left and quickly fled to the first floor.

Will stared hard, concentrating on the veins pulsing in wiry Gregor's old chicken neck, sure that the innkeeper was going to have a stroke right on the spot. "Aucklorn's finest residency is going to need a new dusty old innkeeper soon at this rate." He winced as Gregor shouted with outrage and stood to attempt and temper the rising wave of pre-historic curses that he found quite humorous, albeit a little less so as the innkeeper's barking assaulted his half-elven ears. "Take it easy afore I be needin' to plead t'tha gods for an old goat's foolish killin' of 'imself by having a heart-attack! Just think of it this way, Gus... now your inn is just as important as your mams was."

Gregor turned at Will, who offered a most broad cheshire smile. A string of guttural blasphemies directed at Will erupted from the old man's mouth like a plague of frogs and crows, the wiry innkeeper's voice a mixture of croaks and caws that made Will's eye twitch. As Will hoped the troublemakers would be long gone, he glanced to see Noa vanish just after she almost bull-rushed a man entering the inn. Tuning out Gregor with practiced effectiveness, Will focused on the man's uniform until he took a seat at the far side of the only table in the common room, apparently taking no heed to the chaos filling the inn so early in the misty morning. Will offered another one of his smile-and-nods to Gregor, locking his gaze with Aswaith with a curl on his lips and a shimmer in his eyes that either said you owe me, or I'm a glutton for punishment, depending on one's point-of-view.

The moment Noa flew towards the door, Aswaith spun to vanish into the same direction. Being so close on Noa's heels he noticed her stop a split second to late. A moment later a disoriented Aswaith stood with both hands covering his nose, blinking confused, teary eyes. Will's rescue couldn't have been on a more convenient time. The waterfall of verbal abuse that landed on the pale half-elf's ears gave Aswaith time to at least remember what he was doing and notice that Noa'd already found a back-up plan. He stumbled to follow her, hoping that the dark silhouette would go about his business and that Gregor was too busy to notice. Boy, did he know he was in trouble. And boy, this -hurt-.

As she ran through the corridor, Noa sought to open the various doors filling the walls of the Inn's first floor, knocking even on some of them, hoping for one of the staying adventurers to wake up. After various failed attempts at finding an unlocked room, and within it, perhaps an exit, she finally reached the last door in the end of the corridor. That one was her last hope. The last hope of hers to avoid another pair of weeks at that dreadful, deadening village that'd oblige her to think far too much for her own enjoyment. She touched the doorknob with her fingertips. Her hands began shaking from the adrenaline. Noa then finally wrapped her fingers around the cold surface of the doorknob...

It was locked. Noa leaned her back against the solid wall and hopelessly chuckled. She then looked to her elven friend with a forced smile on her face:

"I'm afraid I'm out of plans!"
