Brother Slvynni was wandering Priest before he joined The Requiem Order…. Rumors says that he have drop of angelic blood In his veins, and was wondering in Dasaria for a year, providing his philosophical religious lectures of The Lady’s Faith to commoners in Cear , and 3 years before Requiem Order was founded, left Dasaria for period of 4 Years.. During that time he wandered in Old & New Varana, visiting holy places of his faith, coming for short to Gulashir, after what returned to Dasaria to join the new Temple Order, which he saw in his dreams (many say that he was living in the camps of 4th Legion in Two Bridges before he left Dasaria, where now stands The New Temple). He is skilled and faithful warrior, most lawful and openly empire-loyal among high rank members of the Order. Many told he is War Priest, using his exotic wood spear to explain things more often than he use his words. Some say he can be very cruel with his enemies, and very protecting and rewarding with friends, but normally he retains neutrality to most around him. It’s also known he was razing and killing ferociously many Culnul followers before he returned to Cear an became member of The Order, however also some people, who have been in contact with him after his return and joining to Order, say that his behaviour changed somewhat towards Culnulites. His spear was seen cutting and piercing the flesh in several last period attacks on Varanite holdings and lands in Dasaria, defending Varanite citizens, and helping the Legions. Also it's known that he personally were helping to Legions with his own spear and tower shield to fight rebels and remnants of Dasarian Loyalist Partisans north of Ravenwood forest... He often says "Peralia's to Peralia, Culnul's to Culnul. What is to be removed to clear space for Peralia's, goes to indended owner, Her husband..." His speech is often complicated and overly-philosophical, but short.
Devyn Ethanael, only son of Johan and Norah, was born in Cear to a simple way of life. As soon as he was old enough to walk, he learned to sail, and was taught the family trade on his father's fishing boat. His mother tended their simple home along the waterfront and worked at the Vissen Tavern, but Devyn wanted more out of life, so he forsook the family traditions and joined the Church of Rhauth as an acolyte.
Norah had always been supportive of her son, but Johan did not approve. He had lost his only son and only deckhand, when in his opinion the city was in no short supply of priests. Still, Devyn's mind was made... until the day his father's boat was lost at sea. He immediately blamed himself; that it wouldn't have happened had he been there... and he lost his faith in Rhauth.
Soon after the incident, Devyn left the church to help his mother out. They had lost a father, a husband... and a boat. His mother took more shifts at the Vissen, while Devyn went about town doing odd jobs. One night, on his way home Devyn found the docks busy with fleet activity and gawking onlookers. "Another murder," he heard one citizen say. He fought through the crowd to be confronted by his worse fears and the body of his mother being carried off.
No witnesses ever came forward and again Devyn blamed himself and vowed he would find the villain and bring him to justice himself if he had to. He didn't sleep for three nights after the incident until he finally succumbed to his weariness of body and soul. It was on the third night that he had a vision of his father wielding a hammer. His father told him that one day he would have justice and not to give up hope. His father gave him the hammer and told him to always strike true.
Devyn awoke and knew immediately that he had been touched by Etoth...
He appears to be a tall (for his race) young halfling man,
a trace of green in his sideburns and his shoulderlong hair.
His speech may sound somewhat archaic,
and he has a strange tendency to speek in rhyme.
Most of the time he appears both polite and likable despite,
or maybe because, of these quirks.
History
A group of settlers, Perns parents among them,
some time ago burned down a tract of forest to make farmland.
Unknown to the aettlers, an ancient grove, a sacred place for the fey,
stood in the area burnt.
Its destruction greatly enraged the fey that dwelt nearby.
Desperately seeking to placate the fey,
following the advice of an old man wise in such lore,
the settlers offered them the youngest child among them.
As was their ancient custom, the fey accepted this offering,
taking the halfling child to raise him amongst their own,
naming him Ashengrove.
But what would Pern himself say of his past?
Possibly he would explain it somewhat like this:
A fact at first, people needst to feed.
Farmlands most often sates this need.
And when men haveth many mouths to feed,
Often times, it is the forest that must bleed.
But spirits of old didst not agree,
that farmlands be better than an olden tree.
Things that be wyld things thet be fey...
Settlers rightly didst fear to quarrel with they.
But how to pay wergild for an ashen grove?
They knew they had burnt what the fair folk didst love.
A sacrifice offered to soothe the wyld.
To the fey, they gave up a child.
A blood price thus paid, by ancient lore,
the spirits bothered the settlers no more.
But what of this childe, this sacrifice ?
The Feyfolk raised it, and taught him their way.
Years passed yet how many none know.
For in that realm time is both too fast and too slow.
An adult I traveled to mortals land.
Eager to see what fate hold in hand.
He was lying on a table wearing torn clothes that were obviously too small for him.
I canna remember anything - anything at all!
The Dwarf looked around. There was some money, clothes, weapons and scrolls, all scattered about.
The clothes - they look too small - almost the size of a human child.
What is going on here?!
The dwarf lowered himself from the table. As he looked around the room, his frustration grew, until a chair that was in the way suddenly blew up.
What?!
He tried to get a hold of himself. He then looked at another chair and consciously thought of fire. The chair blew up.
Somethings not right....
He then saw the scrolls, a scroll of polymorph and another of mirror image
Oh no....
He was a dwarf...but had he been a dwarf before today?
A thorough checking gave up 1 more clue. A number of documents and bills were made out to "Uziel, warlock extradinare"
Could my name be Uziel? The name sounds vaguely familliar. it is certainly no Dwarven name. Well, I need to call myself something - Uzzik it will be. And somehow I know my surname is Stormbeard, although I have no idea why
Uzzik picked up a few items of interest, took the money and was about to exit the room when he stopped.
Something else...something else here is very important, part of who i am...what is it?
And then he spotted it. a pair of dice, 1 white and 1 black. Somehow he knew the dice were important, vitally important. As Uzzik picked up the dice he felt for the 1st time calm, almost content. he causally threw the dice and instantly knew from looking at the numbers that it was going to be alright.
Whistling to himself, Uzzik left the room, tossing and catching the dice as he closed the door...
Other PCs: Admittant Pak Mei, Juniper Wolfsong, Gharsin Maurius, Benji Blood, Porbag Turl, Elrendur J'rend, Bigo Biner, Grimble the Grumbler, and many, many more...
Gharsin Maurias is a street rat turned barfly in a gnome infested swill-hole somewhere in Cear. When asked about his profession, he claims to be a merchant, waylaid by bandits in the Forest of Daris. His steely gaze and calm demeanor betray that he is no simple tradesman. Though wholly unremarkable in appearance he has a practiced grace and warrior’s readiness that is easily recognized despite his intoxicated manner and slurred speech.
The orphaned son of a prostitute, he fell in with the wrong sort early in life in order to evade the child catchers and escape the workhouse. In time, he grew to be a petty filch and burglar whose ill-gotten gain was usually spent unwisely on strong drink and cheap whores. One morning, he awoke with a massive hangover only to find that he had been pressed into military service either by being drugged by a fetching barmaid or beaten into submission by an ugly solider...he thought possibly a combination of both based on his headache, his empty pockets, and his face-now disfigured by a large boot print.
His days on the street had taught him to steal-while his days as a conscript taught him to kill. After surviving his tour, he was released from service without rank or pension...strangely there is no mention of his military service on record though expense records and certain quartermaster reports indicate he was receiving pay and supplies.
The man speaks of very little save drinking.

In his younger days Tyr saw much of the strife of his people. The war was devastating to all dwarves and it was apparent in the eyes of the Stormbeard Clan. Kattnar was one of his dearest friends and he had spoken to her many times about seeking some new power for the Clan. Deep in the earth while the Clan dug Tyr would dream and dream vividly. His dreams were of the elements that called to him but not just Brintha’s stone. It was all four of the elements that called to Tyr in his dreams and beckoned him into the wilds. Kattnar told Tyr that he should not leave, that he mustn’t leave. Tyr could not refuse the call anylonger, “Kattnar, I must go. The calling only becomes more and more demanding of me. I must seek the meaning of my dreams. Once I find them I will return home. Farewell Kattnar.” Tyr then made his way to the surface and into the day’s light again to seek the dreams. This was five years before the end of the war. The First Five Years in the Wilds
The first five year of seeking Tyr had to learn the ways of elves. He learned survival, what plants were helpful and which were harmful, and how to live as the beast do. The dreams had subsided and finally quieted and Tyr spent these alone. He had come across in the middle of this time a young bear cub that had lost his mother. Tyr would have left it to fend for itself but Tyr had felt a voice call for him to care for the bear cub and show it compassion. Tyr named the cub Ursa. Ursa became a trusted companion to Tyr. The Dreams of Earth
In the time after the first five years Tyr began to dream again. The Elements that called to him had returned. The first was the Earth itself. The element of Earth night after night spoke to Tyr of the ways of Earth beyond the teaching of Brintha. Tyr was taught the solidness and strength of Earth and by day Tyr practiced these. A decade had passed and Earth had spoken all it had to teach and gave way to the next element. The Dreams of Air
Air then came down in a whirling tempest and spoke to Tyr. The element of Air taught Tyr the way of air. Air spoke of the power and grace it possessed how every breath of every living thing was granted by air. Air spoke of balance with Earth and that how they maybe opposites they are always in balance. By day Tyr practiced the ways of Air. A decade had passed and Air had given every word of its wisdom and gave the dreamscape to the next element. The Dreams of Water
Water rose up from the flowing rivers and spoke to Tyr. Water’s way was that of life and death. Water’s way was of creation and destruction. Water’s way was of power and gentleness. Water taught Tyr of the flow and steadiness of water. Water spoke of how it can replenish living things but at the same time Water can cut through mountains. Water taught of changing form from water, to ice, to steam. Water taught Tyr the way to flow. By day Tyr practiced this wisdom. A decade had passed and Water had spoken all its wisdom and gave way to the final element. The Dreams of Fire
Fire burst forth in flaming glory and ferocity and Tyr shielded himself but fire spoke. Fire spoke of the burning destruction of its power. Fire taught of its hunger. Fire taught of its ferocity and glory and then fire taught of its peace. Fire spoke that as much as it may destroy fire also gives way to new life. As fire may devour entire forests it allows for the new birth of young trees. Fire taught of the wisdom of its way and by day Tyr practiced the wisdom and way of fire. Fire allowed Tyr only five years to learn its wisdom for fire did not have the patience of its brothers. Five years had passed and Fire gave way to a new voice. The Dreams of Nature
The elements had left Tyr to the voice of all of nature and Nature itself spoke to Tyr of its own way. Nature spoke of the way of the seasons and the transition of each. Nature spoke of the way of both plant and animal, from the smallest fungus to the greatest tree, from the smallest insect to the greatest of natural beasts. By day Tyr practiced and observed this and became part of nature itself. Five years more had come to pass and in the end of the fifth year the Elements returned and Nature stayed in audience of the true voice in Tyr’s dreams. The Awakening
Within this final dream Tyr woke and stood with Ursa by his side. Before him the forest gathered round and many beasts did as well. Into the gathering entered the four elements of Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. Then a voice that Tyr knew was the first voice in his dreams called from everyplace. “I am the Mother of All. My sisters and brothers that hold command over my dominion are still of my dominion but I am the one who hold ultimate dominion. I am Iaosai.” Then the voice took form. It was Goddess Iaosai that stood before Tyr and every element, beast, and plant bowed before her and Tyr fell to his knees before the divine presents. “Tyr, you are the Farwalker, for you have come far to seek your dreams and to seek me. Dwarven kind must not vanish from Dasaria and the Stormbeard Clan will call many to its hearth and a new great Clan shall rise. My sister Brintha has long been your kind’s patron and she has come to me to ask that I gift your kind with my wisdom and so I have. It is time to walk again Farwalker. Go now back to your Clan and bring them my wisdom. You also must realize the way of the druid and awaken to you full potential. Go now Tyr the Farwalker of the Strombeard Clan you are now dwarven druid of Ioasai.” Ioasai then became again as all parts of nature and the element returned to their places and the trees returned to their place and the beasts scattered into the wilds. Tyr gathered the few meager belongings he had and gave Ursa a strong pat on the shoulder. “Come on Ursa. It is time to go home.”

Enyeto is a boy, no more than 9 years of age. Less than a year ago his family was attacked by a rampaging horde of goblins, his father and mother brutally murdered. Enyeto would have been slain, had it not been for the intervention of Edeamaka-Liwanu, a local bear spirit, who often aids orphans and lost children. However, what Ed did not expect in this intervention, was to be stuck within Enyeto. However, the attack also cost Enyeto his eyes.
Ed quickly guided Enyeto to Cear, a safer haven then the wilds near his old home. The first day there Enyeto met Sir Phelan Almaran. Phelan explained to Enyeto that Enyeto was a Spirit Speaker, and that was why for years he was able to speak to various 'invisible' friends.
True to his own heart and upbringing, Enyeto believes in helping those that can't help themselves. Although it may be awkward for Farmer Wayne to have his farm cleared of rampaging beetles by a nine-year-old, it is obvious that Enyeto can take care of himself. Enyeto has traveled a fair bit since he arrived in Cear, visiting Morell, Lendose and Ravenswatch, amongst other areas. In that time he has grown much stronger, even capable of conjuring a manifestation of Ed for short periods of time, or healing his allies of the most grievous wounds.
But the most peculiar part about Enyeto is when he randomly breaks into prophesy. He claims that the spirits speak through him at those times, and he has no knowledge of what is said. But one thing is certain, each prophesy has come true.
What is your name again Ed? Oh, Edeamaka-Liwanu, but I can't remember it so I call him Ed for short. Ed is my bestest friend!

Gregory Walsh
Year 698 of the Minilsuzyan reclamation Dossier for:
Gregory Walsh, Tesserarius
Assigned 4th Legion, 33rd Century
Legionary Officer
Gregory Walsh, is the eldest son of the Walsh family in the City of Cear. The Walsh family are well known skilled conventional healers. The family uses bandaging and herbal curatives and runs a licensed business out of their residence. Gregory Walsh has displayed a very apt ability as a combat healer/medic and displays expert knowledge of use of curative herbs. The family is also known to have other seemingly natural skills when it comes to healing.
Gregory Walsh, since being promoted to milities, has displayed excellent leadership qualities. He is known to be very charismatic. He tends to take a gentler attitude when dealing with people. Noted he can be very diplomatic and has been able to acquire the cooperation of others with nearly no intimidation necessary.
Gregory Walsh has now been put in command of Unit 13 of the 4th Legion, 33rd Century. Noticed immediately he was able to rally the unit after a previous defeat and lead them to victory at the same ground they were previously defeated at and secured the area with zero casualties
-------------------------------------------------------- Decanus Gregory Walsh takes command of the 4th Legion, 33rd Century, Unit 13, The Unlucky 13th.
-Fort Cretos, the front lines, Decanus Gregory Walsh, of the 4th Legion, 33rd Century, Unit 9, returns successfully from a prisoner of war exchange negotiation.
He is approached by Tesserarius Quintus d'Cerevallia followed by the battered remains of the 43313th.-
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia addresses Decanus Walsh,
"Rank, Name, and Unit." d'Cerevallia ordered.
Walsh snapped to attention, the metal scales of his boots click together, he pops a fine salute and replies, "Decanus Gregory Walsh, 4th Legion, 33rd Century, Unit 9 Sir."
d'Cerevallia grinned and looked the young Decanus over. "At ease. I've heard good things about you Decanus Walsh. I understand you are a fine combat medic and that you have excellent leadership skills."
Graciously smiling Walsh replies simply enough, "Thank you Sir."
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia continued, "These men are the remains of the 43313th. Their Decanus was killed while attempting to secure the siege weapons from the Kor orcs on what they call Hamburger Hill. You are now the Decanus of the 13th."
Walsh's eyes widen in surprise. He again snaps to attention and snaps his finest salute, "Thank you Sir!"
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia sternly commands, "Do not disappoint me Decanus."
Without a hint of doubt Walsh retorts, "I do not disappoint Sir,"
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia grins with satisfaction, "For your first order you are to return to Hamburger Hill and secure the siege weapons for use by the Imperial Legion. Dismissed"
Solidly and eagerly Walsh accepts his first order as the new Decanus, Unit Commander, of the 13th. He turns to the beaten and torn men. "We have our orders men. You have one hour of rest. Bind your wounds, get something to eat, and rest as much as you can."
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia sees to the activities of Fort Cratos as Decanus Walsh resupplies himself and checks out his new Unit.
Methodically, Walsh ensures the health of each of his men. He ensures that their bandages are perfectly wrapped and every injury is seen to. The hour passes and Decanus Walsh calls the 13th to formation.
"UNIT 13, FALL IN!"
The still battered and morally crushed Unit fall in to formation. The look of fear and dread of their defeat at Hamburger Hill looms over their heads and the knowledge that they are returning to that hell is devastating. As the Unit completes the formation line up Decanus Walsh's booming voice thunders.
"UNIT! TEN-HUT! Legionnaires, we are returning to Hamburger Hill where you lost your former Decanus and suffered a great failure and defeat."
The men, with that reminder, become devoid of any positive moral and full of a deadly fear that this will be the end of their lives. Walsh pauses and takes measure of every man standing before him. Tesserarius d'Cerevallia takes note of this and wonders why the 13th's Decanus is crushing the moral of his men further. He watches and listens.
Walsh steps close to his men and places a firm and reassuring hand on his youngest Legionnaire. A boy no more that eighteen if not younger. The boy looks up at the smiling and confident face of his new Decanus. Walsh begins to speak again. The tone in his voice changed. The tone has become lifting. Every man feels the urge to raise his eyes and behold their new Decanus, Gregory Walsh.
"Today we return to that place! No man dies today! Only our enemies will fall! We are known as the Unlucky 13th! I tell you that after this day every new and veteran Legionnaire will wish he was one of our band of brothers! Today we show the entire Legion the warriors that we are. As the news of the exploits of the 13th travels across the Empire, every man, woman, and child will know that they sleep safely. They will know that we are here at the front standing against the hoards and guarding them from their fears. Our grand Emperor and blessed Empress will know of us. They will hear of the 13th and will be assured of the victory of the Empire. We will become the sword and shield of Varana. Songs will be sung of us! Grand plays will be preformed of the 13th! Our great commanders will call upon us. After this day, 13 will be a symbol of fortune! After this day, we will heroes of Varana and Her sacred defenders."
Walsh falls silent for a moment and simply breathes. Like a pulse of glory from the Gods the men's' entire demeanor shifted. They feel purified of fear.
They stand up straighter, taller, they hold their shields higher. Their faces fill with complete resolve, confidence, and courage. Tesserarius d'Cerevallia takes notice and as he takes position behind Decanus Walsh and listens. He too feels the incredible presents of this young Decanus.
"Today we march to glory and victory and in this single act we shall have it! VARANA ETERNAL!"
The Unit released a resounding cheer! They clang their swords and shield together letting a clash of thunder of steel on steel ring out throughout the battlements.
No man would have imagined that these men had only an hour ago suffered a debilitating defeat at the clawed hands of Canas' Kor Orcs. Just before Decanus Walsh gives the order to move out, Tesserarius d'Cerevallia approaches.
"Decanus Walsh, I will be joining you for the attack to oversee your Unit." "Thank you Sir. I would be honored. With your permission Sir?"
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia, nods and Walsh turns to his enthusiastic and battle ready men. "UNIT 13! MOVE OUT!"
Unit 13 began their march to victory standing behind their new Unit Commander, Decanus Gregory Walsh, accompanied by Tesserarius Quintus d'Cerevallia.
Their steps were full of energy, their spirits high, and their courage and resolve firm. The men's faces were bright. They hardly remembered their recent defeat .
They march confidently, to which they knew under the leadership of Decanus Gregory Walsh, was a guaranteed victory and in his leadership not a single one would die today.
A courage unfelt by the men saturated every part of them. Even Tesserarius Quintus d'Cerevallia could not deny that he himself felt more assured in the presents of Gregory Walsh.
Unit 13 arrived at the fortifications where the Legion nearly continuously suffered a brutal barrage from the orcs by boulders and arrows.
Decanus Gregory Walsh, observed by Tesserarius Quintus d'Cerevallia, formed his men into attack formation.
"You are ready men! Stand with me! Keep the formation close! Support the man next to you. Don't break formation. Watch your wounds and injures. Bandage yourself and the man next to you between attacks. If you are severely injured fall back to me for healing. No man dies today, that is an order. FOR VARANA! CHARGE!"
Walsh and his men charge toward the first catapult and orc crew. The Legion archers take out the orc archers first. Walsh and several Legionary fighters dispatch the guard.
The orc catapulter charged Walsh, the same orc that killed the former decanus of the 13th. Walsh turned, he pierced the black heart of the orc with the tip of his sword. The orc cringed in a moment of intense pain.
Walsh glared into the eyes of the orc and dropped his shield. He smirked and placed his left hand on the orc's shoulder and thrusted his blade through the orc's chest down to the hilt.
The orc dropped to its knees as Walsh drew his blade from the orc. His men stood speechless and the silent. Tesserarius d'Cerevallia was even impressed by the display.
Walsh's men cheered and bashed their swords and shields together! Together they charged each crew and devastated every orc. The catapult installations were secure, wounds and injuries were mended and the Unit returned to the fortifications.
Tesserarius d'Cerevallia approached Decanus Walsh, "Decanus, is the area secure?" "Area is secure Sir. These catapults are ready for Imperial Legion use." "Any casualties?"
Walsh smiled and turned to observe his men standing proudly behind him. Walsh turned back to Tesserarius d'Cerevallia and simply replied, "None Sir."
Straight faced but pleased and impressed Tesserarius d'Cerevallia dismissed the Unit. "Carry on Decanus."
The Mystery of the Walsh Family
The Walsh family are not actually Varanite, they are in fact Dasaria. The Walsh family for generations were Tyrakian paladins. However as custom for this family and some others the family name was abandoned upon become a Tyrak Paladin but taken back up once they retired their paladinship to raise a family and bare the next generation of paladins.
Through and after the Great War, the Walsh family, defeated sank into amenity to become healers. The Walsh family bloodline having for so long been bred and born to be paladins were natural healers having some inborn talent in curing disease and mending wounds. The Walsh family are also accomplished herbalists and use herbal remedies to heal and cure.
The Walsh Family now lives in the city of Cear. They run a quiet business out of their home as conventional healers. Their ability to heal and cure by conventional means allows their cost to be much more reduced than seeing a priest. The eldest son Gregory joined the Imperial Legion after being an apprentice under his parents for his life but could not afford to start a business of his own. The family business will eventually be passed on to Gregory's younger sister whom is very skilled herself.

Anna Kraven Deathsinger, a creature who's outward appearence is that of a beautiful elven maiden. Looks do decieve however, for harnessed within her petit frame lies unimaginable power drawn dierctly from Pandemonium itself. Her childish nature and 'loose' morals keep her more akin to a daemon newly released into the 'mortal' plane. Her hair is a glittering gold whilst her eyes shimmer an oceanic blue, ever glittering even in the faintest of light. About her ebbs the scent of burning lavender, a sweet, aromatic and seductive scent which matches her outward appearence, the tight fitting robes of a Matron of Hellfire.
One would find it difficult to imagine this seemingly fragile creature as a former general of Dread Malice, a cruel daemon of unimaginable evils. Tales tell that she was forced into servitude under the lich, Bart Aers, other tales speak of her affinity for him though none know the truth. The armies she led speak of her as the Daemon-queen, a foul half-daemon borne from the hellfires of pandemonium. However, these are merely tales and, though her childish nature would lead one to believe her outspoken, she maintains deep secrets that few could even fathom.
A Fish, a fish, a fish, a fish .... Ohhhhh Fishy! Where did the fish go? Is it in the cupboard? Or is it up the stairs? For it went wherever I did go.
Few in Dasaria remember what the priests and priestess of Teshalia once were. When they're thought of at all it's as the consorts and concubines to Imperial aristocracy, holy whores at best, and simply the latter at worst. Certainly our friend Ilvar Zhaya doesn't think much on it. That'd just get in the way, wouldn't it? Which is to say, in the way of simply enjoying the good things in life. But sometimes, just sometimes, conscience troubles him. A woman's voice in his dreams. A joy-killing act of petty cruelty in the streets. And the wine, the women, just don't taste as they should until he's followed his conscience, his goddess, and set things right. At least in a small way, for a time, and broken the grimness long enough for a smile or two to flourish.
You see, Ilvar's not much of a priest. Not a priest at all. But at some point fate touched him and now a goddess rides his shoulder. The wayward rogue, the unlikely and unchaste friar, she chose as a favored soul isn't quite certain how he feels about all this yet but The Lady's blessings have saved his hide more than once. And even a jaded, worldly-wise, traveler can feel his heart lighten when a child smiles, a bard sings or a maiden blushes. This whole thing might actually work out, Ilvar sometimes thinks to himself, but Teshalia is fickle and cryptic. She sends him down roads a more sober, or wiser, man would never tread and rarely signals as to why.
Gildor Delmarien that rat, that thieve, that scoundrel, that son of a..... many things have been said about this elven traveler , some are true ...some are even truer but the end of the story is that this elf does what it takes to survive in a sociaty not meant for everyone but lets start from the beggining shall we ?...
It was about a more then 60 winters allready that a young elf was born from the union of two simple farmers , the elven kingdom is a well structured one but as every realm it has its most simple people farmers to keep the folks well fed , Theladian was a good spirited elf and so was hes wife Nithenia and they loved having been gifted wich a child to rejoyce, they named him Gildor after its grandfather , as the child was growing he did allready show signs that the farmer life was not for him but was glad to help in the everyday chores ,Theladian would often take him along in trips to hunt and show hes son the ways of the elves for even tough he was a simple farmer the skill of the elves with a bow had to be tought from father to son .
It was on one of this trips that they where out hunting when they was ambush by a group of Tel'gothrim in the woods , only they would have the skill to have got trought the forest unnoticed and still bearing hatred for the rest of the elves seeking any oportunity to cause grief and pain to theyr past relatives , father and son where no match for the skilled hunters and Theladian feel to the arrows of its atackers in front of hes sons eyes , Gildor tried to fight the murderers of hes father but was taken hostage easylly , perhaps it could have been hes end but the Tel'gothrim had a diferent plan for him .
Everyone knows the Dark elves hold no alliance but to theyr own but this particular group was after gold for who knows wich purpuse , perhaps gold could buy revenge in the future , those where questions that came to tought much later in life , for that time Gildor was sold as a slave to a group of Orcs that needed miners for theyr straction of minerals , an army need weapons and this cant be crafted without resorces , who knows how much this elves got paid for the little lad , that was not important at the time , for only revenge was in hes mind , revenge and survival ....it was in this mines that Gildor met an old dwarve who took him under hes wings goin past the diferences and hatred that shows sometimes bettewn this races , that tough Gildor the use of a blade , the dwarves in that mine where separated by groups miners and crafters , what good would the child be to the crafters he was to stupid probably tought the orcs , but he could surelly mine with the rest , bettewn mine and rests in the cold nights when the orcs stoped theyr vigilance Gildor would meet up with Kolgrem and learn the use of a dagger , it was old and rusted but it was a blade and it could surelly kill someone if aimed at the right spot.
Some years later the boy had turned into a young male allready in hes earlly 20's and the plan of the dwarves, humans and few elves that where prisioner there had turned into a reallity , that night when the orcs change guards they would have a little time to escape , Gildor had becaume quite a thieve with time and had being able to steal small things from the orcs ,mostly rubish some little coin , a trinket with no value whatsoever , but to him each time was a step closer to hes main goal ,untill that day he finally stole the keys to the chains.
The orc as usual when off to change hes shift for another guard , thats the time when Gildor unchained himself and set free a good number of dwarves , the orcs where many but the resolution of the prisioners was strong and trough the years the had stack a good number of weapons trough the cave ,Gildor advice them to leave but most have been there so many years that whanted revenge on the orcs ,-- we will fight and win or die Gildor -- said most of the dwarves , they where strong , fierce , and honest , they told him to leave the cave and they would fight , for the honor of theyr fallen brothers , Gildor tought about stayin with them but hes revenge was somewhere else , making hes escape was not dificult when the riot started , the boy found himself free once again in a land he did not know ....but free... the night breeze wellcome him with the feel of a an angels touch , no more would he feel the whip of the orcs on hes back , he would live and find the murderers in time , after all time was not such a luxury and he had to prepare himself , making hes way into the nearest town he started to make a living the best way he knew , sneaking , stealing all was good to get him something to eat and in time the boy grew and turned into a grown up , the charms of the city where open to him, taberns , drinks , maidens,....... now thieve ,bastard, scumbag ...son of a -..... yes probably they are true and some not , everything has a point of view right ? , alltough a little sneaky and perhaps a bit cleptomaniac , hes sure not bad at heart and will help anyone that needs of him , sometimes for a price , sometimes for the heck of it , upholds to a peculiar code of honor "steal from the rich and give it to the poor, but since i am the poorest person i know i guess i have to keep it *laugh*"
Destiny gave me a the book of life , ink and a feather , i decide for myself whats goin to be writen in it
All you see is an angry man frequently fingering a glowing pendant upon his neck, clearly not wealthy or well done. He has a thick Varanite accent and plain clothes.
His past is unknown as of yet, as it is hidden from him.
