They are hardly simpler, the water temple perhaps, but the rest require some finesse to get through. The fact that you had played through the original is what makes them easier, if you put your mindset in it that you had never played OoT before, then it will be much much more difficult.

Me and my mates got upto the Spirit Temple and got stuck with some bug. There is literally no way to progress further into the dungeon, we looked up a walkthrough to see what to do, and it says to hit a switch or something that is already on!!!

But ah well we got over it! I look forward to busting through Twilight Princess..

The new MGS for the PSP, called Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, just came out this week, and it's a sequel to MGS3. When you get it, tell me so we can play online against eachother! (I'll be getting it on Christmas).

P.S. Make sure you get MGS3 Subsistence so you can play it online and play the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 from the MSX.

Back to the thread. For some reason, I'm playing a bit of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest for the Gamecube (it was a bonus for pre-ordering Wind Waker). They call it Master Quest, but the dungeons are easier than the original game. The stupid Water Dungeon was so much simpler.

Yeah, I'm getting Portable Ops for christmas too! I'm saving up right now to play MGS3 before I play it though. The Acids are great.

Right now I have moved into the realm of the DS, and am playing Final Fantasy 3...which is pretty good. Still boardgaming it up regularly though!

Well, I guess I was using a walkthrough from a Nintendo Power issue that covers up to the Bottom of the Well.

But I got through the Shadow Temple without any help, wasn't so bad.

I just beat MGS3 two days ago. It was spectacular!

Can't wait for Portable Ops.

The secret theatre is hiliarious.

I recently played Might and Magic: Dark Messiah (single player). In fact I played through it 4 times (different character builds). Its satisfies your bloodlust (truly hack and slash), so I warn you, its very graphic/gory and not for people under 18 years of age. If you liked Thief you will love this game.

I also play DotA as a 'competitive' game, its the most popular WC3 mod/map currently (in fact its more popular than the standard WC3 ladder games).

DotA is pretty darn fun. I wish they'd expand it and make more maps with the same class based system they have set up

If you liked Thief you will love this game.

So wrong! The stealth system is nowhere near as good, and never does Thief force you into fighting hordes of enemies. Dark Messiah is a glossy first-person hack'n'slash through and through.

Guitar Hero II!

I was always too clumsy fingered to play real guitar, but so far I've been having a great time with Guitar Hero II. Especially when my friends and I spend a few hours at the bar first, get nice and drunk, fail to pick up any girls, and then play it on a projector.

I'll never be a rock god, but I can pretend.. Oh I can pretend..

150 copies of Twilight Princess were only shipped to EB games here, imagine everyone's expression who were waiting in line when I walked out with one of them pre-ordered.

I can pat myself on the back knowing that I completed that game entirely without glancing at a walkthrough, boo-ya. There was a couple of pretty tricky puzzels in that thing that you normally wouldn't expect. It was a good game, I was skeptical at first when I started playing but once you get hooked, you're -hooked-.
