I think this poll is for disabling obtrusive buff effects. Although I'd advise against the mirror image one, because the fix is more obtrusive then the original.

Alright, under this proposal, the following effects would be removed:
barkskin
spiderskin
shield
tortoise shell
stoneskin/greater
shield
protection from energy
protection from align
mage armor / improved
entropic shield
And the following effects would be reduced:
globe of invulnerability lesser/greater
invisibility sphere
etherealness
protection from arrows
globe of invulnerability lesser/greater

invisibility sphere

etherealness

protection from arrows

would it be possible to leave the skin effects in, kind of handy to see when these wear off, especially stone skin.

We're discussing the exact implementation internally now. 'Lessened' skin effects as opposed to no skin effects is definitely part of that discussion.

Well personal i think them are childish too and make you char look quite supid, funny and ugly!

I wished it would be possible to make only your character's actual skin change when casting one of the -skin spells, while leaving the gear alone. But along those lines, I think "lessened" skin effects would be the best.

There is effectively a work around to do that visually, ToC. After casting a -skin spell, unequip and reequip your armor, helm and cloak. At least on my machine that makes the visual effect look like it's just on the character in question. I don't know if it does anything for other people.

We can't tell through your ridiculous ridiculousness anyhow.
Looks like all the mage bubbles are being addressed. What about the cleric bubbles? Can't remember the names, but one adds deflection I think...

As far as I recall (I don't play Clerics, so I can't remember fully), only energy resistance, shield of faith and protection from alignment are bright globes.
