A shout out...

Most of the people on this list will never see it. Slightly more might know some of the people on it. Reading back, over the member list, I'm reminded of a lot of great, truly great people. These people didn't just welcome me to my first PW, Dasaria, a very long time ago, they taught me how to roleplay.

Falcon, Baby, Wyvern. Some of the first here, the big shots. I knew Falcon the best, the others had gotten burnt out when I first started, by they all helped me out.

Mon-da-Oth, for hours and hours of amazing roleplay. When he wasn't busy sulking around being dastardly.

Vahene, for making me feel at home both when I started, and when I came back.

Broncoblitze, Grayle, and Ramblinwomble, who's still here. Great RP, down the years.

White Wolf, Chia...Greyshore. Wish you three would come back, you were always an inspiration to me, for RP.

Father Minuvas. You were the man. The freakin man. The lowest level badass that ever did exist. You should stop arresting people for speeding, and come back.

Eewade, you too. I don't remember as much as I should, but I do remember, and that means something.

Elrith. I do remember you. Fantastic RPer, and one of the only drow I rped with regularly. Elrith was a friend, and I wish I knew where they were, these days.

Blackheart. Allaric. The eternal ranger. Another friend, who I quested with just about more often than not. I think he'll be back again, one day, if only for a little bit. I hope so. Hard to find a better RPer.

pvtzombie, I already know you're out there somewhere, I always run into you. Still, good times.

The Explorer. Hope he's still around. Suspect he is. I owe to him a great deal towards even being a competent RPer.

urgualamand, ErictheRed, both of whom made it a point to put up with me, and RP with me.

SnorriTH. SnorriTH left while I was still settling into the server, but I'll never forget her/his RP. I remember wondering for a long time if they would ever come back, and hoping so, as well.

Stoned Raider. I remember when you tried to lead my character on a quest into a warehouse, and the quest wouldn't work. That was my introduction to his character who was a batty old man. Many years of RP, here and elsewhere, followed

Atharin, Balamor Lansmore, PapayaTaco. Could do with having you louts back, too. Been a long time since I've been schooled in math by Papaya, anyhow

HannahColdkiller. Ironically, I may have played a part in him staying on another server. I'm a retard. You'll be missed, and I hope to see Titus again, someday.

Nawtikatt. Name in of itself says enough. Good times, and a good friend.

Vastgoten. One of the best RPers I've ever run into. He came along after I did, but he too, helped shape my RP, and more than that, he's just a fun guy to RP with.

Jotun, I hardly remember you, these days, but thanks for the RP, and the schooling in what it means to have individual style.

Also, Explorer, Mon, if you read this, and remember the name or login of the Samurai guy, who acted the part; the dual weilding katana guy, I'd like to know it. I hate it, but he was one of the people I knew best from here, and I can't even remember his login name or character. Wherever he is, he is missed.

I've forgotten some, and left others out, because they are still here, or because they actually might not have left the best impression on me, at points. Everyone on this list made Dasaria what it is. Many that aren't also did, and my memory just fails to recall them. Any one on this server can count themselves lucky for meeting any of them.

This is my shout out to those that came before. Good luck, wherever you are, and may your path find its way back again, one day. Mine always seems to.

Hey man, thanks for the shout out. I still poke my head in from time to time to ensure things are still progressing. Don't play much anymore, but this place will always be super important to me.

*hug*

I still browse the forums here and then, but I'm still looking for a FT job, and working on my writing (which is sort of stalled at the moment). When I get that FT position, I'm looking at coming back. Cross your fingers everyone (interview at 11 this morning). :)

Thank you for the shout out though. It's really appreciated. :)

It's easy to miss things like this when I've been absent for a year or two. It really is amazing how time flies by.

Thanks for the compliment Shorn! I've been thinking of coming back and hanging around for a bit when projects don't keep me too busy.

I have such fond memories of this place. The whole thing is built out of a love for storytelling (and Twizzlers). Anyone who sets foot on the server does their part in making it a magical place.

So a big thank you to everyone: The Admins, DMs, builders, storytellers, players, observers, and more. You gave me a refuge to play in and be creative, and it's still here and better than ever.

Nice to hear from you Shorn! The drug Dasaria never left your veins either I see

That samurai guy you asked for - do you mean Farwalker and his character "Kenshin" perhaps?

No, it was Sanosuke, I think. I ran accross it in a few old forum posts.

Did some wandering every now & again, but Das is still home. Was on last night as-a-matter-of-fact. See you 'round.

I do believe the Dual wielding Katana man was Blackheart :) I only caught playing with you shortly before you moved on but we did have some fun.

Thanks for the compliment Shorn it is appreciated and truly a nostalgic post for me as I also was RP schooled/RPied with/adventured with/etc etc nearly every name on that list during our crazy 12 - 24 hours Das sessions. Some of those may have been on the US timezone so doubtfull meeting them in midst of Rping our way into all manner of trouble. Don't forget though Das Tournaments wouldn't have been the same without your char Thomas of Knightvale at the Forefront that Arena Rules billboard is pretty much an ode to you, fond memories!

"He dranketh a troll-potion I demand it removed from the sand" Lorv shakes his head "Nah Ladd it much worse I Drank anudder ale an when I be done with these lot I come up thar n slice ye face off fer doubtin me honor".

Sanosuke had one and LonoMakesWar had the other one of them we spent many hours with. There most certainly will not be another warlock to outdo Jotun. Most of those others popped by now and again some at peculiar times. I'm hoping to come back at least for a bit once festival seasons over and I have decent internet once more....

So i must now use 3G wireless network. Well its much faster but not so reliable than old one. Well maybe some day i get 4G so it work better (maybe). ;-)
