Mini Event - Day of dance

*Word gets around of an open air dance to be held North of Cear. Celestia will be hosting that starts at 12Pm until 3:30 (pacific) on the 9th of March. Seems to be a fine event for couples and those who wish to find relaxation from their busy schedules. Doesn't seem to be a formal sort of event based on the rumors, but certainly a light hearted time.*

Is that AM or PM? I wouldn't guess you'd be organizing events at 3 in the morning, right?

Just wanted to say a thank you to Domina, the bards and dancers, and Click, the local paparazzi, at the Dance today - it was something totally different, and a lot of fun! Well worth the 7am Sunday alarm!

Oh...and the dancing badger, Ferran.

Well planned and executed Dom and Osiris!

Thanks for the great fun to all of the dancers, bards, artists, and lazy layabouts!

Thank you to all involved, particularly the organizer and the DMs involved.

Also, a certain party crasher (may your luck always flounder!).

...

Any chance of a transcript of the Halfling Girls song?

That and badger-dancing were truly the highlights of the event

Glad you all had so much fun! Thanks to DM Osiris again for the set up and fancy effects above and beyond my expectations, and everyone who added a little more love to something designed to be so small!

Halfling Girl
As performed by Vij Tarot

I love halfling girls, so should you -
Think you won't fit? Brother, you do!
Soft and warm as a fresh-baked treat -
Those sweet little girls, almost too nice to eat!
And, oh, they're fine pillows,
If you don't mind the snoring,

Cause the best part of having a halfling girl...
Is the breakfast she makes in the morning!

Go a round or four if you fancy some fun,
Try to tire one out, it can't be done -
Nothing takes it out of a man like a hin,
But once you get up, she'll put it back in!
Don't get the idea that her bed is boring...

But the best part of having a halfling girl,
Is the breakfast she makes in the morning!

Girls come in every size and flavor,
And every man's got a taste he favors.
Some men like the tits, and some like the legs,
But I like a halfling girl's rye toast and eggs!
Oh, humans are fine and elves worth exploring...

But wait 'til you've had a halfling girl,
And the breakfast she makes in the morning!

I've heard that their size is unnerving indeed,
But they come to your waist--how much taller d'you need?
Oh, most pass them by but a few realize,
That everything on 'em is sweet and bite-sized!
There's plenty who'll take all that muffin you're scorning...

Because the best part of having a halfling girl
Is the breakfast she makes in the morning!

[At this point, it is appropriate for the performer to pause, and perhaps hold one hand up for attention, and to smirk in a knowing manner.]

When the pickings are slim and the crowd disapproving,
A clever bard calls it a night and gets moving...
Time to find a halfling girl and hope he can schtup her!
Since he hasn't had lunch, and he can't pay for supper!
Some call it a living, and some call it whoring...

But I'd starve without those halfling girls --
And the breakfast they make in the morning!

[The performer will now bow grandly and dodge anything thrown by any actual halfling girls in the audience. With luck, it's something to eat.]

That's just scandalous and horrifying. Tallies are so disgusting. *Tilly throws something none too pleasant... gnome gnuckles!*

((That was Tilly. This song made me laugh pretty hard and I'm so sad Tilly wasn't there to hear it.... probably everyone else is glad though.))

No. No, not everyone.
