Enemies of The Empire! Know the Wrath of Varana!

A crier stands at the gate and announces in a bold voice:

"Let it be known on this day, that Governor Verkethed, being the instrument and vessel of the power of the glorious Emperor Marcus IV hereby decrees that the men known as:

Darksteele Ingod
and Granton Dettian

Are guilty of crimes both numerous and horrific including the murder of city Guardsmen, the murder of innocent citizens, and of heresy. By this decree these men are forever branded as Enemies of The Empire of Varana.

It is the duty and obligation of all citizens to withhold aid and comfort to these men and to do them harm, if they are able.

Upon hearing of the murder of a Guardsman, Grayle strokes his chin concerned.

"I hope Zad and Ray are alright."

With a hurried step, he wanders towards the Mistyvale, hand upon the pommel of his sword.

*Neradur leans with his arms crossed on the otherside of a nearby building as the public gathers to hear the announcement. His piercing blue eyes stare off into nothingness as he remembers his previous encounters, their crystal depths a well of bloodlust.

Knowing he may be afforded more leeway in his methods, he produces 3 black charred cylindrical scroll containers from one of his pouches and inserts them into his bandolier slots. The scrolls give off an eery feeling of darkness...*

A grimfaced guardsman climbs a ladder outside of the Gaol and places two grey-skinned heads on two spikes set into the stonework walls of the old building. The guardsman sneers at the crowd and returns to the barracks. He mutters, "Thats that then."

The small crowd outside the Gaol cheers as the Guardsmen secures the heads.

Lifting his hand up Minuvas cries "Death to the Enemies of the Empire, None escape Lochwars Retribution. Hail!"

Looks on as some of the other Citizens join him in his praises. Then looks to see if others will join in this cheer.

Towards the back of the crowd sits a fully clad man, in pure steel. He simply watches motionless as the guard makes his way back. As Minuvas leads the cheer, he simply stands with both arms crossed. He gives Minuvas a slight smirk and a nod, then he goes off looking for a "peculiar" Guardswoman...

From the archway leading south toward the Farallis temple, Will looks on as nobles and workers alike join in the crowd at the display. He watches stolidly as cheers go up for Culnul's newest guests.
