Dasaria II - A NWN2 Roleplay and Story-driven Persistent World

Right now we are waiting for our new server to arrive, then we need to get it ready to run and all that jazz. That should take about an evening.

We are still making more content and doing a lot of work on the couple of areas that we are wanting to include in the intro release.

Will we make it by Friday? If everything went perfectly, then probably yes.

Will everything go perfectly? I seriously doubt it.

We may miss the mark on Friday, but we will do everything we can to get at least something going this weekend.

The server is still waiting to be shipped, so if it doesn't arrive by tonight (very unlikely) Friday will certainly be a no-go.

Hope it arrives on time then. Though I probably won't be playing, for obvious reasons.

Horray! Dasaria II will probably be up on Friday, and my stepdad bought and installed NWN2!!!! I will play it the day it comes up!!!!

No word on the server yet, so it may not be tonight.

Update - the server has been shipped. It just needs to arrive now.

I think you are all due a real status update so here goes. Development is still frantic, but we really aren't where we need to be as far as launching with enough content to keep you busy for the week or two it is likely to be until the next real content update. We really do not want to sell you guys short, you are all worth more to us DMs and builders than that. Our goals haven't changed as far as what we want to deliver in our initial launch and trust me when we are working flat out to deliver it. We have several low level quests that are very close to being ready for launch, and we are finalising a few dungeon areas to provide adequate hunting grounds. Even over the course of today, the excitement that we really can deliver this beast has been growing and things are slowly taking shape.

So bear with us. Hopefully (once the new server finally arrives) we can launch at some point next week with enough solid content to really launch you into the campaign head first. It won't be huge, but we will do what we can to deliver content that is polished and original. We are close guys, so hang in there, it is coming!

We know it will be well worth the wait

Don't be happy with it in the name of expediency. Be happy with it when it's done. We'll wait.
