Join a crafters guild (if there is one, heck I'm no crafter) or ask for crafters IG. I don't think anybody is going to post secret recipes on the forums, hence their "secrety".

how to make arrows is not really a secret. Talk to the guy who sells torches in North Cear or the Charm shop lady and buy a quiver of arrows or bolts. I think there are instruction on how to make element arrows.

I'm gonna complain about this just one more time.
I guess I'm unsure as to why this is such a big freaking secret in Das2 when there was a separate server for it in Das1 that not only gave you directions on how to make stuff, but the materials were handily available? Now you have a bunch of crafters guilds sprouting up saying "Mine, mine, mine" and it does get a little annoying for people that might want to do it on their own - they can't.
I won't risk points in something I don't know anything about.
Sorry.

not to say you should be a crafter if you don't want to, that'd be silly, but just so you know, none of the crafters really know how to make much of anything either...
thats one of the reasons a guild was, so we can consolidate our resources and knowledge and hopefully break some ground here...

Well put Coruscadragon. Vahene has it wrong that the Order of the Diamond exists to keep recipes secret. But it would render crafting utterly boring if we just posted the very few recipes that exist for general comsumption.
I think in Das2 (in general) a lot of the fun comes in how the player base makes use of the limited content to work IG RPing on whatever we have to work with.
For crafters, that comes down to sharing knowledge. If we are doing that using an IC or RP approach, well that's because it's something to do.
But like Coruscadragon said, we also hope to pool our knowledge so that we can learn new recipes that will benefit the entire community.
Anyway, if you are a crafter, please consider joining. If not, please be patient and you will soon (hopefully) be able to buy something nifty from one of our crafters.
