Can a DM please confirm or dispel the rumours I have heard of an item wipe that is forthcoming? There may be some confusion from prior threads about this notion.

While I am not against the idea (i.e., as opposed to a character wipe, which would be hella bad) I think it would make doing any of the soon-to-be-released new content rather difficult to handle (i.e., while naked). And most characters that would seek out the new content will be too high to go back to Tower to "re-gear".

Wyvern, can you please post a statement one way or the other about this so that everyone can be clear? Thanks.

There is no item wipe. The first post, by Jehannum, in the "Item wipe on 8/25" thread which was started by Jehannum said "Just Kidding ". That's it.

Good god. Even Eve's not this stupid.

There will be no more wiping until someone replaces the roll.
