Partytime Partytime

so I wanted to try something different for me. I wanted to start a new character and meet up once a week with the same players and play together for an hour or two. I want to try a balanced part (fighter, rogue, mage, cleric, bard, or a similar variation). The players would only play these characters when all the other characters were on. Play would be IC as much as possible and focus on party dynamics, using different tactics to the quests other than hacking and spamming spells.

I think starting level of 5 would be good so that we don't have to spend a lot of time running errands and can get straight to it.

My char is going to be a Paladin who is a straight up do-gooder who hunts the undead. Alignment variations are welcome and encouraged as they could make things interesting. I'd rather things not get to the point where one person leaves the party because one person wants to kill puppies and the other wants to save the world. IG challenge will be to find ways to stay together.

So anyone down? I think four or five is a good number to shoot for.

I'm US central time so in the afternoons on sunday is a good time for most people I think.

I'd be down. I've got a Rogue around lvl 4-6 already. He's more of a gentleman rogue. Rob you blind, then apologise for the inconvience type as he sneaks off. Havn't had much chance to play him much and havn't had much chance to play in general for the last few weeks, but it sounds like a fun time.

Yeah, I remember you mentioned this before, but with the homework this semester it looks like I really don't have time to commit to gaming until later on or maybe even this summer, it's been a blast since christmas break, but I've got to get back to work =[

yeah, that's cool. I'm still interested in doing this. My pally is almost 5 now. I won't level him anymore until we have a group. Mas has expressed interest with a rogue and Random mentioned wanting to play a bardish/ek so that leaves openings for a mage and a cleric, maybe a ranger/archer.

Level 5 Fleet Wizard reporting for duty. I'm an alternative character, so no worries about me leveling beyond the party. Need to know the days/times before I can completely commit, though. Middle of the week, preferably (evenings EST).

I'm pretty flexible so it would be up to the others who join us. Wednesday or Thursday after 7 or 8pm EST?

What roles are unfulfilled in the party?

Cleric it seems. Depending if Mas is still interested/available. Then, maybe a bard or Rogue. Are these days above workable for you guys?

wow.....Thursday evenings I'm almost always available (I'm never scheduled to work then....ever.... That is unless something really shity happens at work which seems to be happening a lot lately.) :( I appologise for my absence lately. I've been busy with other things (life) and I just havn't found time for Das. I really hope that things will slow down soon. I do however think I can be there for at least one day a week. I'll try and keep track of this thread, but go ahead and send me a PM when you want to begin the fun!
Thanks!
Mas

I'd be interested, on thursdays that is. that's 6 or 7central time right? That'd work for me.

I just made a cleric, I'll try to get him about 5ish asap.

I won't be able to this coming Thursday, but I should be able to most thursdays thereafter.

*looks forward to it*

Erm, I also made a cleric and spent yesterday levling him... hope I can still participate... He's going to be support type, a cleric of Rhauth with rapid shot and zen archery... might end up joining the fleet as well. Thursdays would be great.

Heh, woops. Me too. I think that's scary.

I didn't get very far though, I'll switch to a bard :)

Heheh, that one taken?
