I voted yes.
Not because of anything. The money has been put aside in a chest on a shelf for a long while.. in the case Dasaria should upgrade. But now I need the chest for other purposes, which means that the choice was between burning the money or buying MoTB

I voted Yes because it may help with the server population issue, it will defiantly stop the silly problems we have with mages, it will allow for new content with the interesting new stuff in MOTB toolset and armours etc.

Heck yes. I'd love to see the extra content put in.

I abstain for voting. I have MOB but cant forget people who dont have it. Its a great joy play here and this must not change. With or without MOB - doesnt really matter.

Wyvern I know its a new idea, a new proposed idea but you could give more info about what will change with MOB and what wont.

Wipe, xp reset this kind of things. With MOB many builds are differents, pluy epic levels and others.

Anyway this is my simple idea!

I've made my opinions known in another topic, but, I did vote no.

It isn't because I can't afford it, but I -would- change my vote to 'yes' if there were a server-wide wipe afterwards. That way everyone stays on the same page, starts at the same level, has the same feats, etc.

I simply don't think upgrading to MOTB will solve the problems of low server population. It seems like trying to put a band-aid on a leak in your water pipes. I think that there are other mitigating factors why people aren't playing, whether it be real-life, families, or whatever the case might be. I think the people that say "I see 2 people on and just log off" have other reasons that they aren't telling, and quite frankly, I'd like to know the real reason, rather than the excuse. I think that would help us a lot better than just simply wanting to upgrade.

Then again, I'm usually in the minority, so my opinion probably doesn't count for much.

No one opinion counts for anything more or less than another. Some are just more known than others, and therefore have a larger potential for being agreed with.

This is nowhere near a definitive answer, but here goes...

Expect the level cap to stay at 20.
Don't expect a vault/xp wipe. Rebuild rules still apply - if you want to remake an existing character to utilise new stuff, then we have a delevel/no relevel policy which will remain in effect.
New feats - I think most are for epic levels, but the staff would have to investigate this further.
Spells - Same as feats. I'm sure a bunch are ok, and a bunch are not. Tweaks can be made, where required.
Classes - Current policy applies. New classes will be allowed if it is deemed they are a) lore-relevant and b) not rediculously over-powered.
Races - See classes. But don't expect to see too many Genasai running around if the server does upgrade.

Not all the answers you wanted, but there you go. The benefits of updating will be more focused on providing new toys to build better and more varied content for you all (creatures, tilesets, textures etc) and less actually on the player/client side (the stuff listed above).

I vote "yes" for MotB as well.

A server wipe would be fine with me if the general server population wanted it. But I sorta doubt that will be the case. I also seriously doubt it would help with the low server population.

But I am all for MotB content, and I would certainly roll up some new chars if it were introduced.

I don't think MOtB will hurt, It might help and I would experiment with the new stuff. All for the idea here, so yes.

I voted yes, to be honest I think MoTB was a great expansion and well worth the money just for the single player. I actually think the vast majority of people who play on Dasaria have it already anyway (I know there are one or two exceptions). I don't see that upgrading it can do much harm, really, except minor inconvenience to one or two people. Even if it's like using a band aid to patch a broken water pipe, it's still better than just standing there and letting the water spray all over the place
