I'm planning on giving her weapon focus in great swords and suiting her in scale mail for the dexterity bonus. I'm also investing in the idea of using two weapon fighting and defense then rolling a bit into parry for her lack of high defense. I also am thinking of giving her skills that revolve around granting 'Attacks of Opportunities' and the Expert Tactician feat. I generally trying to get a feel for a high damage character with using her defences based into parry instead of heavy armor and constitution.
Think this build could work out well? I'm not entirely sure at the moment, I don't know the combat rules of D&D heavily so that puts me at a moderate disadvantage. So would parry be of any use with this character? I was hoping the two hand defense along with improved parry and skill focus on parry would give her alot of tanking ability without the need for heavy armor while still maintaining a nice reposte damage of a two hander great-sword.
Well, the lack of use with expert tactician kind of ruins the point of investing in things such as knock down. I was hoping the attacks of opportunities it brought would benefit groups since expert tactician is suppossed to help in attack rolls (Or something to that extent.) Also, I ment wielding one great-sword, sorry for the miscomunication. well, I invested into int to atleast 13 to get a feat, and are you positive two hand fighting doesn't apply to 2 hander swords? If so, that's the complete basis for my characters build, so the whole build is down the toilet from there. I need to get better aquainted with D&D, that's what this discussion is ending up to mean. Anyway, thanks guys. I may just go for a higher con and invest in shield and swords I guess. Also, I was planning on investing into fortitude and reflex saves and attempting to keep my strength and dexterity in a close range of one another. But I wasn't planning on working on will because my primary focus wasn't tanking altogether as much as holding a bit of melee aggro while avoiding damage and dealing some. Thanks for the advice!
My advice would be to only have a max of 13 dex if you're going to have heavy armour proficiency. This is because Fullplate has a max dex bonus of +1. This is a total of 9 AC if you have the dex bonus with fullplate, only padded armour gives 9 AC (8 Dex bonus, 1 armour), everything else gives 8 or less. 13 allows you to get dodge, and later if you get a +3 dex belt and mithril fullplate, you're getting 2 more AC, but thats hardly worth worrying about yet (mid-late game items)
When not rping, you don't need that much Int, unless of course you want Combat Expertise, which in that case you need 13 and may as well go to 14, so you're good there. If I'm not mistaken, lowering dex to 13 will give you 3 spare points, which putting into strength means that if you put all 5 level up points in strength you end on an even number. That is up to you, there are +3 strength items, but they are rare.
With those kind of stats, and a nice weapon like greatsword you're opening yourself up nicely to Weapon Master. This requires Combat Expertise, and Dodge as the base feats. Both of which you have the stats for. You'll also need mobility, spring attack, and whirlwind attack (Which is really nice) and weapon focus. The most common (And probably best) build for weapon master/fighter is usually 7 Weaponmaster, 12 fighter, 1 free. The free can be used for anything, but you don't gain much from 1 weaponmaster or fighter more. Weapon master sounds like something you'd like simply because it helps you swing your great sword better, as it increases many stats about the greatsword (Such as crit range, crit damage and AB) as well as the fighter giving things such as weapon specialization, greater weapon focus and greater weapon specialization.

As was said before, expert tactician is broken, but that doesn't mean knockdown is useless. Disarm is also very handy. You don't want to take much aggro, so knockdown keeps them from attacking you, while disarm makes it so that when they do attack you, they do little damage. Disarm is very powerful with a two-handed weapon as well. With good criting ability, and high AB, you can make good use of Power attack as well, as with a two handed weapon it doubles. If you get improved power attack thats 12 bonus damage per hit, meaning regular hits can hit (Assuming 18 strength and +2 weapon) from 22-32 on a great sword. That can be quite handy when you're not under pressure.
Other weapons of note with Fighter/Weapon Master builds are Falchions and Scythes, as falchions have a large crit range, and scythes have huge crit damage.
Those are all the suggestions I can come up with at the moment, if there is a different character concept you would like advice on, I can give you some technical advice on that too.
