Current Extent of Dasaria
Current Extent of Dasaria
Been exploring, but I am new;. As far as I can tell only the Commons, North Cear, the Farmer's House and related areas, the Bugbear Cave and related areas seem to be working right now. Is that basically the extent of Desaria now or have I missed whole ne places to adventure? If so, could I get a clue as to other adventuring areas?
After you get 11 almost none (if not none of em havent cared enough to see) will give any quests. So only way to get exp would be grind bugbears or something but havent seen anyone that desperate yet.

Eh. I figure I'll grind if I have an hour or so and don't feel like questing. And RP when I have time. *shrug*
I wish I was level 20, just so I could focus on RPing and building storys instead of having to keep going "CRAP! I can't intimidate anyone if I'm 2 levels lower than them!"

The largest wound will come from those you considered friends.
True ^^ But when there's no one around and you have nothing better to do, a good bit of grinding tends to be the only other option.-Joker- wrote:Meh, I've seen level 20s, in Das1, that did very little to help the story and immersion.
Then I've seen level 1s and 2s, through force of character alone, drive a great storyline.
In my experiance, levels mean little.
Fat little moth.
Aye im at 11 now.
And i dont really care there's not content past 10.
I have this tendency to train something that interests me as much and as good as i can in Irl or gamewise. :S
Actually im glad there is something to hold me down. I never played nwn 1 online and never RP:ed before i came here.
Now when im online ive only been talking to people really and ofcourse watching Tren get into trouble.
That alt idea doesnt work for me... its hard enough to try and learn whole rp thing and think of a backround for this char. Maybe sometime when(/if) i get the hang of this first.

When I first started in Das1, way back when, I was a TOTAL newb to RP. Fortuantly my first character was a lot like me, or rather, what USED to be a lot like me. Once I realized that, my next few characters took on different facets of my personality.
Hunar was the old me - Drunk most of the time, getting rowdy, boisterous and basically leaving a trail of destruction is his wake.
Roland was what I had hoped to become - Responsible, strong, trustworthy.
Draq was, and always will be, the kid who will never grow up.
Because each of these characters shared something in common with who I was, am or aspired to be, the RP was pretty easy. From there I branched out and tried different character types. Some were tough to play, some easy. It was the variety that really helped me learn to RP. Man it was and is a fun ride.
Try not to be too hesitant to try new things!

If you build it, they will come.

It's a great way of dealing with it, and I don't think one can play a character for long if they aren't -remotely- linked to ones own personality. I call Kell my dark side, Azrael my bastard side, and I have somewhere else a fluffy womanizing druid who I call my hippie side. And they all go along, wherever I go, so that way I can -always- roleplay, whiii!
So much FUN.
