"Funny and fun to play with"... this is what it's all about for me. After all, before roleplaying, monsters, treasure, dungeons, etc., D&D has always been about social interaction.

Im telling you guys... but you won't listen... we just hunt down Obsidian staff members one-by-one, When I say hunt them down I mean with guns, very quiet, but also fearsome looking guns. Or a large machette.

Easy now, if you start killing off Obsidian employees, there will be no one left to work ...

Believe me when I tell you, Norton products are crap. They will cause more harm than good. You are MUCH better off with freeware products like AVG antivirus, and Adaware antispyware.

*applies healing kit on LeathalBlade to cure disease* :D
Ahh, much better. Thank you. :) Seriously, though, I would like to see the functionality of healing kits altered a bit.

Healing kits should definitely NOT heal hit points. This is totally ridiculous, and makes no sense. Stopping bleeding, and curing poison/disease is what they are for. And they should not be usable in combat, except to maybe stop bleeding. They way they are now makes them just about the equivalent of ...

Stoutheart Hafling is my favorite choice for a rogue (2 feats at start). Also remember, as a rogue, your major damage dealing comes from your sneak attacks (from behind the opponent), and going toe to toe with opponents can be trouble.

I was not able to loot these at all. I tried to "use" the rack several times, set off the trap each time (died once), and was unable to acquire what was in the rack. I think the trap has to be disarmed by a rogue, or no loot for you. I can certainly understand the need to do something about the ...

As soon as you leave and reenter the game, your quest log is wiped anyway (except for the temple quest).

Typically, when in-game...I'm almost always IC in my general chat, and am mostly OOC in Party chat

Same here. Seeing OOC in general chat does detract from the immersion factor. But in party chat, if everyone is cool with talking OOC, it can be a real blast, making jokes and such.

Role ...

I played DAOC as well, Shaman (Midgard). I have to agree about RPing within that game. But you have to say, there were quite a few OOC conversations. It's a lot easier to go OOC in bigger games. I find it awkward to talk OOC within Dasaria.

Very true. It is not always possible to stay IC ...

I'll tend to use "1337" speak on accident even while RP'ing sometimes you'll catch me

There is a big difference between "1337" speak and typing things like "lol". The latter are just abbreviations. The former is a way of typing that uses numbers and other characters to represent letters they ...
