Was wondering if you could put the current date of the update in the download link post.

The original creation pate of that post is Nov 27, 2006 and it doesn't change when you edit it with new info. Having the date of the update would be helpfull IMO.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this yet.
I'm fairly new here and I'm still getting accustomed to alot.
However,
I like others may not have come to Dasaria when I stumbled upon it if it was passworded. NWN2 was too new at the time to deal with a passworded server. I would have just assumed that it ...

I just hope that if a character of mine joins you on a quest that you have already completed several times that you don't mind if I take the time to read and explore the area because its mostly likely the first time I have been there.

I try my best to RP with other's if they approach me RP'ing ...

I try not to repeat any that I have completed. Why would my character keep having the same conversation with the same person each and every time. It just doesn't make sense.

I may be new to the Dasarian community but I have to make a comment here.

Mon-da-oth, it is obvious by your statement that ...

OK...but let's say that there isn't one, wouldn't it be beneficial to then do the .mod conversion?

I understand (and thought that was the reason) about the ease of updating but couldn't you keep a "backup" directory that you can do updates to before converting it to a 'Live .mod"?

Have you tried ...

What is the inherent difference between a module that uses a directory as opposed to one that uses a .mod file?

Do all persistent worlds use a directory structure?
Is there a way to "pack" the directory or convert it to a .mod file?

Is this something we should be asking Obsidian?

What actually starts the process?
Is it just an exe?

Could you use something like FireDaemon to start the exe as a service?
Configure any command line parameters to start the module and set it for Restart upon Program Exit??

Just curious and wanting to add some application expertise.

Hi All

Great work here with Dasaria2
I played a little of NWN1 but never online.
Me and a few friends stumbled upon you server looking for some 'more complete' PWs and so far we're very impressed.

Everything from the content to the way you admin your server.
I was stunned to realize that it was full PvP ...
