Breaking out Baddruck (way over due...)

To anyone it might concern.

Player Baddruck, with character Baddruck (a canite bastard), was part of a RP-event a while back where his character was captured and imprisoned.
He meant for this to be a short captivity and an opportunity for his captors to RP around him, interrogations and such.
At first both DM and as far as I have understood other players meant to help with the story to set him free again pretty quickly.
For lots of probably good reasons that has not happened and now it has gone on for such a long time that Baddruck feels he has been more than patient waiting for something to happen (we are talking several RL months here). I am not pointing finger at anyone - this is just a bad round of cirumstances.

To help him with the story to set him free we are now going to play out a “break Baddruck out event.”
I have not been involved from the start and am unsure about what counterparts feel they were involved in the beginning here but this is no longer about the original event idea – this is now about allowing Baddruck to get back into Dasaria and keep enjoying Dasaria as the rest of us.

I am not sure if this post was necessary since the whole thing seem to have been forgotten but I thought it right to inform anyone who consider his or hers character part of this.

If you are playing a prison guard or have another reason to guard him at the Cear Barracks and want to be part of the security around Baddruck, feel free to contact us to help flesh the event out for us. But keep in mind that Baddruck has gone tired of this and is no longer interested in delaying this any further. We will make this happen on Sunday (Euro evening).

You are regardless very welcome to give our event some fleshing out. I would ask of those attending to fore most keep Baddrucks story in mind and haver the PvP aspect second to it - even though everything is of course possible in these kind of events.

To my understanding - This plot was more or less created spontaneously by an in game encounter between players and a DM. It was not planned but rather unfolded much like many other events on this server. in the end it was decided that Baddruck was captured somehow. Similar events have taken place prior and after this one but for some reason Baddrucks "release" simply has been a prolonged story which will be ending this Sunday to make it possible for him to keep playing his character without breaking the ic story line of his character.
Hence no link.

I believe my Canite Drow was leveling with him at one point. It might be interesting seeing how she has just returned from Old Varana seeing how the more important fighting has ended there...

the Basic story of Baddruck and his turn to the darkside

Baddruck went on leave from the fleet to try to find his roots and left for Vok lands while exploring he came upon some orc tribal ruins and descovered a sword. Unknown to him the sword was possessed by a demon known only as Malice. Months went by Baddruck began to have some problems to say the least ( randomy talking in orc , rasied agression ect all happened at random points and none of which baddruck could remember) things built up and ended with Baddruck attacking members of his beloved fleet and fleeing from the city only to meet up with Bart . Bart realising what had happened twisted this to his own ends and bargaining with the Deamon recruited Baddruck into the ranks of the Canite forces.

the Demon is in control of Baddruck about 90% of the time due to Baddrucks low will
when Baddruck is in control he begs for help
the swrod is grafted to Baddrucks arm ( just though it was a cool idea to represent the possessed idea )
the original idea was to have the fleet involved and give them somthing intresting to do and see as i enjoy playing good and evil characters give me a random out come if the bad guys won i was evil in the good guys win its Baddruck of old.

Glad that I could be a part of the event. I enjoyed it aswel. The first part of escaping the town I liked the most. The best moment was that when I was entering the ministry with my wizard (with my invisibility on), I spotted a lady that was talking to one of the Canites and then there were few other things that I enjoyed. I also managed to take some photos.
