Beryl picks up a copy of the paper while getting a meal at the Mistyvale.

"Not a bad start to the festival," she says in between sips of some mild mead.

Late that afternoon, Master Roggins is seen carrying a stack of carefully folded broadsheet into the Mistyvale Inn, where he places courtesy copies on a shelf for his patrons.

Émile seems vexed at the addition of this new, written form of gossip, regarding the stack of papers with a scowl.

A frazzled gnome clomps his way through the Mistyvale, his clothes soaking wet and torn. He snatches a copy of the paper off the counter, knocking all the others on the floor. He unfolds it and then folds it and then unfolds it again. The gnome flips it over, looks at the back and the flips it again. Running his finger under his nose, wiping the snot away, he sniffs:

"What on earth is this outrage!" he exclaims as he raises his finger in the air. The patrons in the room continue on about their business, barely noticing the gnome. He slaps the paper and drops it on the ground.

Taking off his hat, he wrings the water from his hat onto the paper, then rolls it up and flings it across the room at Marak's head.

"This is all your fault! How can any organization call itself a newspaper without even once mentioning me!" He flops down on the stool. "Especially now that I am about to make a shocking revelation that will CHANGE EVERYTHING!"

The archer/would-be alchemist-vinter grabs two copies; one to read and another to fold into a hat as he orders a meal, complete with a bottle of one of Mistyvale's fine red wines and helps himself to a seat.

He nearly spits out his first mouthful of wine as he reads a certain article. "Grumbler?!.... Why that little, irritating...." he trials off, crinking the paper a bit and tossing it to the other side of the table. He finds some relief in his order of roast quail arriving, though the dish looks to be a bit on the messy side. He takes his newspaper hat in hand, staring at it with some rising ire.

"You've just been demoted to bib."

As I grabbed the newspaper, he first thing I saw was the article about the rat attack... but then I saw the article about the heroic Lochwarians who had successfully severed the vampiric infection from the body of the victim, who then succumbed to his wounds.

I rolled my eyes and put the newspaper back on it's shelf.
"Lies and plotting seems to be all those guys are good for..." I said as i ran my fingers over the large scar on my neck, where the Lochwarian had struck me with his axe...

"Ironic that I am here, alive, to read their lies once again." I said with a slight shake of my head.
hen I left the Mistyvale, my bronzen armor silently clanking and my red cape flowing.

A figure wearing a dark blue robe looks through the front page of the newspaper, then curses under her breath.

She places the newspaper down, and cuts the article about Cuhannan raiders out, leaving shallow dagger marks and a cold spot on the table.

Rik'Iizt walks through the Misty, scowling at any without the tainted I'Tel'Gothrim blood in them. He pauses at the paper, looking through it.

"Hmm, I suppose my kind haven't made enough of an impression to get a spot in the filthy paper humans seem to flock to."

The dark elf peers out of a window to check if it's daytime.

"Ah, finally, I can leave the filthy scrap of wood they call an inn."

He leaves the building, and taunts the nearest human he finds who gives him an odd look.
