I don't know if you're leaving because of some drama **** as others imply (and that I don't really want to know about), or because the server is half-dead, or for any other reason, but I'm sorry to see another player go. Best of luck, and (hopefully) Dasaria will still be around if you ever want to return.

Well, if I were a potential new player and read this thread, I most likely wouldn't stay. We're supposedly all adults here and this looks like %$*&#(* high school again.

Luckily, I'm not aware of everything that's going on in the backstage, but most of the "dramas" I've heard about are ridiculous. If you don't want the server to die, stop the crap, and if you have a problem with someone, either fix it or ignore each other, and move on. That person is not the whole server.

You cannot blame people for posting up a note saying they're off to do something else. Some would call it attentionseeking. I call it common decency to inform others of your choices. It depends on perspective.

Stop with the assumptions and quit the drama. Neither Goz, or I, made this a drama thing. You (plural) did.

Alright, I'll speak up as an actual new player here Every server has drama, every server goes through highs and lows, trust me. So seeing this, in my eyes, is somewhat..Expected/normal. Conflicts will happen, whatever. The only thing that can make this community better then the others I've been a part of and DM'd for, is that after everything settles and everyone cools off, everyone comes back together as a better community.

Now I have no idea what's going on, why people are leaving or what happens in IRC, but I can tell you right now from my couple months here that this entire community is heaven compared to my prior servers. Everyone is friendly, willing to help and more then open to inviting me into things that I personally feel I have no right to be involved in ;P

So with that said, love this server, the players, love the DMs. Do what ya gotta do, calm down, get some fresh air and remember this is just a game. We're all here to kick back, have some fun and escape the hell we call RL. <3

I suppose I'll comment as an old player, then. I've had some good times with Hvrankel. I've also had some disagreements. We both said our parts, and we both parted perfectly able to speak to each-other. I remember when Hvrankel first came here, in fact. It was a different time on the server, when there was a lot of hope for growth, that never really happened. There are a variety of reasons for that, but they aren't important right now.

What is important is that a long running and valuable player is leaving the server, and from the sounds of it, Neverwinter Nights altogether.

Hvrankel, mate. It's been fun. Good times and bad, like all else. You'll be missed, and I do hope you stop by again sometime.

Kell, you in particular, I enjoyed RPing with more than most. I'll miss not getting the chance to RP with you again, and I bid you a fond farewell, and a hope that you'll return as well one day!

In parting, I can say this, having been a part of, having helped cause, and leaving a server over, massive drama... sometimes, we have to get over ourselves, and make amends. Sometimes, we can't, and that's fine too. We're all human. Either way, I personally wish you all the very best, and hope that if anything, your time on Dasaria has given you fun and entertainment.
