Now sunday, the 4th of december, 7.30pm : Lycan outbreak near Lendose?

Initially I had another idea too, but it needs some contemplation and consultation.

People of the surrounding farms not far from Lendose report large numbers of killed livestock, including cats and dogs. Few say they saw werewolves lurking about their land, feeding off whatever meat they come across. But they also report that some of their neighbours have been acting weird, they witnessed how some leave their homes in the middle of the night. Two or three people are missing, their farms abandoned.
The Argentum Vigilo, who are responsible for the roads to and from Lendose, are understaffed and have requested help from the Ordo, the Vanguard and any adventurer willing to look into this matter.
Contact : Knight-Aspirant Depheant Makepeace (questgiver)

Start area : just outside the gate of Lendose
RP : medium, 100% player driven, dm welcome
Hack 'n slash : medium (as the investigation and clues may lead the party here and there).
Levels : if low levels join, we definitely need high levels to protect them.
Duration : Probably 2 parts of each 2,5h
Background/lore : none required to start. But knowledge of lycanthropy can help.
Max number of players : it's not such a big event, but up to 5-6 other players should work.
Rewards : not promising any DM rp-xp, no questing during the event, no prices handed out --> 'just' fun, monster xp and perhaps some loot found.

Yep, that sounds fun. Crysari (Cici) will be there.

A cave full of Kor, the farmers named Fred and Frank are missing, the team found an ear in some poop, and a finger with a ring in a big mad wolf's stomach and it doesn belong to any of those farmers. Meanwhile, no werewolves so far...

Will they solve the case? Maybe next sunday the 11th...

[Sunset Fallow]

Rumors of odd sounds and livestock killed, then found half eaten. Families torn asunder as some go missing...having left at night to wander when no one should be abroad. A group of adventurers are tasked by Sir Depheant Makepeace to investigate the family members that have gone missing.

Initial investigations reveal odd behavior in those family members immediately prior to their disappearance. Clues in the investigation include human remains and a ring found within the stomach contents of an abnormally large wolf. And all of this amid talk and rumors of werewolves. The nearby farmers are loathe to venture forth at night and commerce from the farms has begun to be affected. Without the aid of these farms, the militia in this area which depends on these farms to provide food and other items will be sorely affected.

We need your help to find the cause of these disappearances, return the missing family members and hopefully return this community to some sense of normalcy.

The event is moved a later time. I'll keep you informed when. Maybe somewhere during next week (if possible) or in the period between X-mas and Newyear.
