Nostalgia

I caught myself thinking about Dasaria a lot at work recently. Decided to incorporate old Laul and his missing wheel, and little Tasha and her mother in my group's pen and paper campaign. One of my players wants to pursue Lichdom, so I'm steering him down the paths of Bart and Maelstrom. I think I'm the only one in the group who wants to incorporate strict religions and properly defined gods into the game, though. It's more lighthearted than I'd like, but it fills the void. Anybody else getting the nostalgia vapors?

Only every week! I lead a campaign with some of my techs and doing a story with a pal or two in other regions of the Dasaria world such as Anjiro and even western more. Lots of death and religion madness on this end though. I didnt change anything as it was when it ended, so basically advancing things how i'd imagine it would be with the people pushing it as we did!

I find I have to consciously work to not to upcycle Dasarian ideas/stories into my other games.

Dangit I keep having this urge the last week or two just to log in and play. BUT THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE.
I think Das should be brought up once a year for a week to allow us das-addicts to get their annual fix.

Yeah it's out now on steam and on beamdogs website, seems decent, brought quite a bit of a playerbase back to NWN1. If they ever enhance NWN2 though, it would be a seriously good idea to relaunch Dasaria, you'd be surprised how many new players and old would be back, ignite some new life into the world, depends if beamdog ever do it... They did do both baldurs gates, so I could defo see it in the cards.

I've still kinda been tinkering with North Cear in Unreal Engine, still not a stand alone yet though! xD
