Yeah we will solve all complaints via Punches to the face. Make a complaints board, give us moderater and we will start punching right away.

I can see my answers already.

"Shut up, restart NWN2"
*punch*

"Shut up, the game is still being built"
*punch*

"Shut up, stop whining"
*punch*
The largest wound will come from those you considered friends.

First of all I applaud the DM's and builders for their polite and diplomatic responses. In fact I'm amazed.

Now, in response to the OP, you have only a couple legitamite complaints:

1) Treasure not respawning - I've noticed this as well, I hope someone is looking into it. (This goes for Ancient chests, Weapon racks (all), Scroll cases, Oaken crates, etc..)

2) While the monsters do NOT have unlimited spells, their use of spells leaves something to be desired...they have TERRIBLE ai. They cast the same spell over and over whether it is effective or not (in fact, the ones that summon undead keep doing this even though it resets the one they already summoned)

As to your other complaints, I hate to say it, but you seem to lack knowledge on the game mechanics. Granted, its not always proper (RP) to know how to work around such things (metagaming), some simple common sense is not too far of a stretch:

1) Bards: perhaps if they use magic protection you might try dispelling it? Yeah I realize this isn't practical but it does work.

2) Skeletons: arrows and daggers dont really hurt things that have no flesh...

3) Confusion: try figuring out a way to protect yourself from this. Read through your spell list

4) Bugbear Barbarians: barbarians of their level have innate DR. Nothing you can do about it. Also for you rogues out there: Barbarians get improved uncanny dodge, this may explain why you cannot 'sneak' them as often.

I'd get used to player demands and rants, as every single game or mmog ever made has them, and it is only cause your players want everything better, or are trying to help you see flaws you may not be noticing, and even when they criticize nicely, you will probably be somewhat offended because it is your hard work they are critiquing, such if the life of a producer.

Dasaria looks great and in time will be even better. Keep up the good work. We all look forward to upcoming additions and improvements. I really have to stress how nice everything looks so far, I really hope you guys keep going for years and make this into a premier top notch PW with tons of content and long lasting playability.

heh..beta schmeta...I like Dasaria far better than the OC and it is still in its infancy:).

If you really want to see specific things (items, areas, etc) added, get into the toolset, create, and send in the .erf files. Not only does that let you express your ideas in a close to usable form, but it gives you some perspective on what it takes to create them. Go ahead, release your inner developer...who knows what you may find:).
I feel more like I do now than when I first got here....

The way i see it, people shouldn't be afraid to come with ideas or questions, but before we complain about how things are at present we should remember that (it can't be said enough) Dasaria 2 is still in BETA and the DMs are doing this on their free time for no pay. It's really easy to get carried away and want more when you get such a cool place such as this to play in; i'm just as guilty of that as anyone else. But let's try to stop, and think a moment before putting more pressure on the people who are giving this to us for free. We don't want them to burn out, do we?

Maybe with a separate section and/or discussion place for some constructive ideas, people can get their ideas vented without it sounding like complaining? Maybe that shouldn't be done until the server is officially "opened" though. I mean, what we want added might already be in the full version and we just don't know it yet. :)

Suggestions are not the same as ranting.

Ranting denotes your pissed off for no good reason.

It is possible to make suggestions without coming off as condescending and rude.

Saying you guys are doing great, but here are the 20 reasons your product totally blows. Is not a way to go about it.

If you are making suggestions you can generally give ideas about how things could be done differently.

Like with the Kalam Bards and their damage reduction. You all should be glad that the AI doesnt work better. A bard could lock down most groups indefinately while they're buddies sneak attack you to death.

The simplistic AI actually makes most casting mobs easier than they should be as you know after once or twice exactly what to expect.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

I don't want these to come off like complaints or anything but more as some suggestions for future building/additions as time allows.

One thing I would have liked to see is the journal a little more informative on some of the quests with names and locations of who gave it to you and what the goal is. I know it's not a big thing it would just help the beginners who logged out and back in later to remember that the lady wanted "10" of this item and such it's a small thing but handy. Although I know there has been journal issues lately so fixing it and other things would be a priority.

I noticed some quests I have seem to stay after a reset where some don't I think it probably has to do with an item in the inventory maybe? Maybe give a few more of these items for certain quests at the start that you don't want to be repeated until someone is level 10. I am not sure if I am even right on the whole item thing or not as to why some quests seem to stay as completed to my character but it's a thought. I was thinking on it when I was having to kill wolves and boars again in order to get the bear quest again is that one of the ones not meant to be repeated?

Is there a way to get into the sewers behind the cheese shop? If there is and I am just missing something that's cool like maybe I am to fat to fit in the hole. If it's supposed to be a matter of clicking on it then it does not seem to be working for me.

Like I said not really criticism just some feedback and a possible bug.

the cheese shop requires you to be a certain level to enter it. If you are partied with somone too high or too low, it wont let you in.

Well... You can build a strong character and still RP it. It's not as if RPing requires you to have a lowbie character with no combat feats, just as it's not as if having a powerful character means you can only run about killing things.

I try to make a character strong enough to adventure, yet dynamic enough to RP.

oh and that little issue with the non-stop confusion spells.. which I CAN'T dispell .. I've tried may times.. what level are the bugbear spells being cast at.. I've never been able to dispell the Confusion.. and I never resist the firespells.. which .. at level 6.. they 1 shot kill you with that unless you have resist elements.. then they kill you on the next cast..
hmm dont wizards have protection from evil spells? atleast made my cleric and my party immune to their confusion.

Well I just came in here to say that casters need a little love, if the admins have time to add anything useful.. but I came across ranting I guess.. I tend to do that about anything I'm passionate about..

Apologies for anyone who was offended..

Robe of the Archmage
Staff of Power ...
and a side order of Craft Cheeze please.. :)

It really suprised my how many people have their panties in a bunch when it comes to these kinda topics.. making a mountain out of a mole hill..
and the mods .. I mean they censor something I said, but when someone else writes "I'll tell her what do with that finger" they let that go.. *shrug* whateva... anyhow..

Wow Maybe I'm a bit slow today, but you're post was titled a rant, you said you were going on a rant, and then your suprised people took it as a rant?

Geez, are you a teachers aide in texas or something?
