Unfortunately, Christmas has devolved into little more than yet another Hallmark Holiday (TM) and another reason for Americans (and all those infected by us) to consume, consume, consume!

Do yourself a favor and try to forget about the presents, the myths, the decorations and all the hubbub. Just spend some quality time with friends and family and you'll get more out of it than anything the commercial chaos that begins earlier and earlier each year can provide. Make it your own.

Speaking about santa clause on the game... Anyone remember santa clause last year for Dasaria 1? (Or was that two years ago?) I heard he handed out christmas presents to everyone in game he met

If I remember right it created a few magical memories for a few (if not all) of the players that played the game..

Santa may not be alive anymore.. but its the idea's thats passed down to the children in the world that has a greater value

Plus.. it keeps brats in their place for a few extra days.. *impish grin*

The popular version of Santa (Red suit, fur trim, white hair & beard, etc.) was created and popularized by Coca Cola.

It's still a version of the traditional Father Christmas.
