A business arrangement between wizards

Post by Neradur_Verus »

I'm just now coming into the 7th level of wizardry spells and I notice that the store never has any scrolls in stock... What I propose, is that I acquire 2 spells that you do not have in your spell book on leveling and receive 2 that I do not have in return. Likewise when I level once again and acquire 2 new spells.

I don't think I've seen any pure wizards recently, at least any that have gone far enough in to have level 7 spell casting, however I'm intrigued to see if I get any offers.

I like the sound of this. It makes me inclined to not add high level scroll drops into the loot pool.

Isn't that the same as a Fireball spell? Those are only caster level 3 so you can find those already, and cast them all you want.

I'm thinking 8bit. Which is more like hellball or whatever that giant-space-laser epic spell is.

Greater Ruin or something. No idea if that's in NWN 2. Probably not because we are sub-epic.

The epic spells are still in nwn2, you can find them as a feat, which is what they were considered in NwN1, technically. So on a server that automatically levels you to 20, it might give wizards and sorcerers a conversation that allows you to choose an epic spell.

Wait, where do we get these epic spells? O.o I don't see anything in the manual about this...

The greater ruin and hellball spells were epic level spells in NWN1. They are currently unavailable in NWN 2.

Though DMs might find a way of accessing them *shifts eyes*.

Maybe what I should do is make some "Conclave of wizards" or whatever you call a secret gathering of finger wigglers. Is it a conclave? Well, you get the idea... where we can exchange spells, and empower each other to our own sick destructive ends.

Apparently they cannot be accessed via the toolset after all, I just checked. However, lazy Obsidian left the Mystic Theurge feats in.

There's a few. But I'm not even sure if the one I know reads the boards.
