Computer Specs (NWN2able?)

Athlon 1700 XP
512 MB RAM
Geforce 6200

I can get some more RAM but the processor upgrade could be an issue. I have a crap backup motherboard after my good EPOX died on me. New MB + new RAM + new processor is out of the question right now.

WILL IT WORK DAMMIT? Someone just say yes and actually mean it.

No.

Your video card and ram meet the -minimum- requirements, but your processor falls a little short. I imagine it could run, but would be horribly slow.

You could really build a decent system for under a grand. If you don't know much about computer building, you can simply buy a Dell for around 500-600 bucks (with the monitor!) and then buy a decent video card for around $300. Totaling the cost to under a $1000.

you have to be careful with this, alot of DELL's are not compatible with Nvidia and ATI.

I built plenty of Dells for my clients, just added an extra Video card for games for them and they are happy.... Not sure what you mean not compatible?

I'm having problems with running NWN2 on my current setup, and I am sure that its my gfx card.

Geforce 7300GS 256MB turbo-cached to 512.

Post the rest of your system, but that card looks fine to me.

I ran NwN2 on my laptop which has a 64Mb Go 5200 card. Had to "fix" the registry, but it worked. 256, especially 512 on the GPU seems more than enough.

You may have RAM issues, but I think you just need to turn down some of that sparkle. Kill bloom and have point shadows on.
