I would consider it if I played two very noticable and different characters, but so far only one has any relations and opinions to speak of. Still, my accountname would give away the identity on NWN anyway, and I've had this handle for about 10 years, so I'm not likely to create "character accounts" anytime soon.

Question if I may to those with two or more accounts?

Do you use your different account to join Multipule factions? Hmmm

In answer to the original question I have three Chars with three totally diferent personalities as listed below, most of the time I'm clear on IC post which Char is speaking and if it is unclear it's never long until one of the community lets me know. Much appreciated guys and girls.

Actually, you multiple account users are worth of praise since you ran off to create not only new accounts, but also a new e-mail for each of them.

Awesome.

If you are the sort of player who wishes to take part in multiple factions, then I would definately recommend this route. If you can preserve your anonimity and stay IC, then your intentions are usually never suspect of being related to your primary character at all. If you play honest, which can be hard to do in some situations. Once other players get wise to who you are, it still helps to better seperate characters, and also serves as a reminder to the player that his characters are different entities, with different knowledge bases, contacts, etc. A little extra effort, but a pretty neat online RP technique. Falcon taught me this little trick in Dasaria1. But the big trick in using it is, like I said, remaining honest about IC choices and knowledge, character motivation, etc...

I tend to think joining multiple factions is an invitation for trouble, especially if the player has a character in opposing factions. Even if the player is perfectly capable of avoiding IC/OOC confusion, it generates supicion sorta. Some people might be able to pull off two or more factions, but sometimes, just partaking in -one- faction can require lots of dedication.

Anyway, hope the advice helps.

Just have one character that joins all sorts of different factions.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

This is by far the best suggestion in this thread. I had a Redboot Captain who was a Paladin of Nergal—he did work for the Cutters on the side. Being a halfling, he also hung out with the LDS on occasion.

He was applying to join the Mardukians when the server sort of died.

Grayle; I personally think if a player can do that and keep the information seperate then yeah sure go for it but I doubt I will ever create another account.

Bonkers how is one character supposed to join two or more religous factions or a Cleric join a Theives Guild?

Just because you lack creativity doesn't mean I'm gonna spell it out for you.
