Cleric 10 / Warpriest 10
Is warpriest really all that good? It seems to me that it isn't worth it to lose out on spells every-other-level whereas 4 levels of fighter lets you pick extra feats and gets you to the same BAB. And how does EK get away with getting spells at every level? Doesn't smell right.

I'm voting for the riddle monk, grasshopper.
From a pure powergaming perspective, the only reasons to go anything but full cleric levels for a melee cleric is to take a warrior level to be able to use tower shields, and possibly if you want more feats (although I am of the opinion that the high level spells are more useful than the 9th+ feat). Anything else merely stunts your spell progression, without adding anything significant in the way of AB (since Divine Favor/Power gives you Fighter-like AB when you need it).
Minuvas is going warpriest purely for roleplayer reasons...whatever else comes of it is fine by me.

I don't think they're so much followers as they're smart enough not to screw with the guy who has his finger on the "Declare Heretic" button.

remember that cleric 15 / Warpriest 5 will get 4 attacks per round, 9 level spells and the warpriest aura. pure clerics will never see 4 attacks per round. If you don't care about the warpriest aura, then just take 4 levels of it to get 4 attacks and a little more spells per day.

I think there's a cleric buff that increases their BAB to be the same as a fighter. It's short, but the options there.

'

it does increase your BAB, but it doesn't increase your attacks per round. Even with divine power on, clerics only have 3 attacks.

The fourth attack is drastically overrated for non-sneak attacking classes, since it's made at -15 and thus has minimal odds of actually hitting anything near your level. A battletided cleric has four attacks anyhow, at 20/20/15/10 (without bonuses).

The only classes the fourth attack is incredible for, is sneak attacking classes, due to the way NWN2 handles multiple swings. NWN2 only has room for three swing animations in a round, which means that when you swing with 4 attacks per round, the first attack motion actually does two attack rolls. This means that you do a double sneak attack out of stealth/feint.

For the OC, the level 8 and 9 spells are relatively useless, but in a PW, you definitely want access to more uses of the save or die spells and similar.

Perhaps, but it still has an impact on the outcome of the battle. Is it more than a couple more spells per day? that depends on the situation. There are benefits in staying pure cleric, and there are benefits in multiclassing.

There are always minor benefits to any approach, but I have yet to see the battle where one more attack per round at -15 AB would make more difference than 1 5th level, 1 7th level and 2 9th level spells. Not to mention sub-20 levels, where your spell progression is slower than a pure cleric.

That depends on how high can you buff your AB, and how high is the opponents AC, but generally you may be right.

Well, it appears all the votes are in.... and the winner is -

*drum roll*

TIE! Between the monk who talks in riddles and the blackguard who thinks Minuvas is awesome.

So, I suppose I only have one choice:

A human monk/blackguard who talks in riddles.... and thinks Minuvas is awesome. :)

I wil get to work on him later today. Thanks for participating in my poll everyone.
