I have a quick request to aid us crafters a bit more. Can you put asterisks next to the items whose components are not yet in game? An example being +5 weapons or armor(unless those high lvl essences are in game).

I notice that blank scrolls are now appearing in game. Will the Craft Scroll feat be implemented so that we can pen scrolls (or is it already implemented?) I don't want to blow a feat on it, if its not going to be put in game.

Thanks for the list by the way!

Scribe scroll, craft potion, craft wand, craft weapon, craft armor, and craft alchemy are all in the game.

Though to the best of my knowledge nobody has crafted an alchemical item or they're keeping pretty tight lipped about it if they have.

Good goggley that is a long list

One of the things that actually attracted me to this server was the use of the NWN2 crafting system instead of an alternate one (with hours upon hours of clicking).

I was wondering if the system supports the use of poison on weapons, and of course the crafting of said poison via alchemy?

I suspect the answer might be a "no" but can't hurt to ask.

Bolts of Frostbite?

Post by Bobzim »

Jeh -

FYI, it appears from my testing that it is not currently possible to craft Bolts of Frost (i.e., Quiver of Bolts and 2 perfected Frost).

This I tested twice and confirm. Fire works, Acid does not work, and I have not tested Shock on bolts yet.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO CRAFT BOLTS OF FROSTBITE. YOU HAVE THE WRONG RECIPE. BOLTS OF ACID DO NOT EXIST (SEE CRAFTABLE LIST).

A few clarifications regarding crafting, please.

Are all items created with enchantments from scratch, or can/are enchantments be added/overwritten later like in the OC? For example, if you create an adamantium shield (or find another shield), can it be enchanted with +3?

Do the skill point requirements match those in the normal campaign, where applicable?

Are the feats of any use at all, or is it purely skill based?

Wasting multiple feats and skill points on a high level character to figure this out isn't very tempting.

Bumping this - after the next reboot, more items on this list will be available to craft.

Have fun figuring them out.

Played around a bit with crafting today, had a good time.
<3

A big thank you for this. I do enjoy custom craftable items.

Combining Alchemical Ingredients

Post by blackheart »

DMs -- Dunno if this is a legal question or not, but is it currently possible to combine lesser alchemical ingredients in order to create greater ones, etc?

You implemented Craft Magic Arms and Armor... does that mean it can be used on non-normal materials (adamantine)?

Guten,

If you periodically check the first post in this thread you will see that the CMA&A feat DOES enable enchantments on exotic materials like Adamantine. Now if we could just figure out a single recipe.

Good luck to you on that.

I just wanted some clarity on this as I have heard conflicting reports that it does work on adamantine and mithril and that it does not and it only works on iron. Been trying but failing but I don't know if it's just a matter of finding the right recipes or not.
