Wow! i mean WOW! Cear v10

Post by Frozenflame »

We formed a small party of two, which quickly grew to 5 before we reached the plaque lands, and set out, between undead attacks, and being ambushed by the barons militia, it was a truely great experience, we eventually found the only party ahead of us, and created a main party and began exploring, which is where most of the event occured

From fighting undead hordes :? , Discussing parley with the barons men, to talking with viligers, all the way to seeking ansewers with the marshal, this was the most fun i have had in nwn 2 since...well...pretty much ever :D

WoW...i mean...WOW! :P i love the new areas, havnt explored cear much, pretty much almost imediatly formed a small party and explored the barons lands!

And i must say, the builders have really outdid themselves on this one, the event was great! i could really tell falcon was having a great time with all his tells :P

The areas were great, beautiful, and immersive, (even the nasty ones  )

Lets all give a round of applause for all the builders on this one!!!! :D

The Queen of air and darkness
Begins to shrill and cry,
`O young man, O my slayer,
To-morrow you shall die.'
O Queen of air and darkness,
I think 'tis truth you say,
And I shall die to-morrow;
But you will die to-day.

Wow, my hat looks good.

Good images, well chosen, they really convey the adventure we had, and show that Cearians can be diplomatic :)

EDIT: I just noticed Maeve is either barely visible or looking the wrong way, in a few of the screenies here and in Lono's topic. Just to let you people know, she was in fact there crushing Sirius' poor ego with her tremendous height.

Yes, I really LOVE the new areas. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to explore them, yet. Is there a possibility that in the future, we could "bind" our login to Aucklorn Mill?

I'm fairly certain that could be arranged.
It's just a game...

If/when that gets implemented, be careful about binding there. It might be fairly difficult to get back.

As a suggestion (I'm not expecting binding to be available anytime soon! Just preemptive suggestion) I'd recommend slapping a level requirement on the binding option.

Yea, i agree

I think the best way to do this would be to have a dialogue option to set the willow inn (the dry one :( ) as your home

Then again if you can get there, then you should be able to get back...
but a level requirement might be good, if say, a level two got there by tagging behind a large party, but now cant get back

on a PW NWN1 world I used to adventure on alot, they had areas you could bind yourself to but it would cost you XP (like 1000 - 1500 depending on the "location" of the realty).
But then again they had "wands" every character starts with to teleport around to different binding spots. Funny thing was though, it was set up not to work during melee...lol.

Im not sure i like the xp penalty, if there is to be some sort of penalty or something you have to pay to set a inn as your home, it should be in gold

like mabey you have to purchase a room there, and that sets it as your home,

If I recall correctly this is what we used in Dasaria 1, no?
